Trouble is setaside most people are not as honourable as you. Judging by Doom 3's download figures on release. So its arguable whether taking this protection out will get more revenue for the devs or just mean the game gets to more people :)

Yeah, cause Doom 3 was a total flop.

I give up on SP2... the people at those forums are just way too dense/fanboish.

GL seems content to slap a bandaid on the problem and move on... at least I tried.
