I was relatively quiet in this game and it was also the first game where there hasn't been a big push to kill me. I don't think that's coincidence.

I can only speak for me, but PR_GMR's antics really didn't sway me. I had him pegged with 90% certainty that he was a non powered player. I don't think but in passing talking about him as a real threat. To reiterate what was said before I have nothing against how you played PR_GMR. Everything I say is in the context of the game. My rants about not being kept in the loop and not receiving PM's was fabricated. I think it helped that I was kept outside. I was able to keep a good deal of anonymity.

Still fun though.

I nearly had a heart attack when you sent me the PM calling me a slayer, but I hoped you were just fishing and laughed it off.... :P

We had you pretty high on the target list from early on, but weren't sure when you would have protected yourself. In retrospect, the first night "bounce" on Remus made us too cautious.

I started to get a fishy feeling about Ralph after a while. It had nothing to do with my lynching. I started thinking about the odds of guessing two slayers back to back while there was still at least 10 players in the game.

I almost asked Austin if the whole group had a hand in the scanning process or if Ralph scanned who he wanted. But since by that time I was up for lynching I worried that it would have looked bad and my motives misjudged.

Glad you were on our side Ralphy Boy!

Once he gave them 2 and still had two scanneds in his pool they could trust him because every night he either had to add another scan to the pool or give them the last Slayer. Even killing the scanneds would leave him at a 2-1 disad come the end game with no way to win as he would have told both players that he was the Tracker and had scanned them.

What I meant by paying off in a couple of turns means that the next night, Bubbles would have probably killed RW and then had a pretty good shot at hitting Austin (another circle member). With the circle decimated at that point, there would have not been a group of trusteds for the others to follow, giving Bubbles his best shot at Bluffing them till the end.

As for my comments on the PM game, it wasn't that fabricated. There wasn't a lot of plotting going on between the slayers, especially at that point since we didn't have anything to do, and it's frustrating to know that 3 or 4 people are plotting and planning behind the scenes, doing all of the work in private, leaving nothing for the rest of us to talk about other than the weather. I came to the realization that I probably won't play in anymore PM anytime games. Once the good guys hook up, it's hard on the bad guys...and when they hook up as early as they did in this game, it becomes almost impossible to make any headway. No one is going to lynch a powered since there are lackys to take the fall, and you have a 1/n shot of hitting the "seer", and only plays like PR_GMR's can reduce n to a number less than the total number of non-baddies.

I HAVE INTERNET ACCESS!!!

In reference to Orinoco, this was the post that most grabbed our attention and caused us to scan him. It just didn't seem like a very smart move (unless you're a slayer, of course  ).

And, as mentioned, Bakhtosh's "bait" post is what aroused suspicion of him (rightly or wrongly). Without that, I don't know when/if I would've ever scanned him.

To Grund: did I actually make posts about "I didn't think he'd be tracked" often? I was trying avoid discussing the tracker at all whenever possible (though PR_GMR made avoiding that subject hard).

I didn't see anyone say that my "bait" slip caused me to be scanned.

There really was nothing sinister about it. There was 1 vote left, and LM was saying that he needed more time to get some info, begging people to not cast the deciding vote. I just wanted to ask him if he wanted some cushion or if he thought that leaving that 1 vote bait out there might catch us a slayer.

Ooops - that was my attempt at trying to save Bakhtosh without gaining attention. Guess I'm the one that needs acting lessons...

When I read that post from Orinoco, as a dead villager, I was thinking "Oh, that may have been a mistake." Of course, I had the benefit of knowing who the slayers were and wasn't sure if anyone else would have caught it.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

In fairness, had Ralph died I think we were going after Bubbles next. He wasn't scanned because we thought he was innocent. :P

If you notice I very specifically protected myself from lynching as the Remus Protection worked.

The only time I protected myself at night was after I was outed by LM as a member of the circle.

If I wasn't me I would probably have protected myself, but nobody ever kills me first night with the VERY NOTABLE EXCEPTION OF REMUS WEST, THAT'S RIGHT PEOPLE, MISTER "OH DON'T LYNCH ME I POKE INNOCENTS HEH HEH OOPS" and I think mainly because I am an easy lynch target.
Along the lines of killing Grund the first night... the longer he stays alive the more likely people are going to not trust him "Why aren't they killing him?"

So I figured protect the guy, that if he dies, will most likely get me hung.

And it worked.

And a batch of players suggested *I* might be behind it.

*sigh*

The "bait" quote was what got my attention. When I posted this, I wasn't joking.

What made it seem more suspicious in my eyes was that I was 98% certain that LordMortis was a slayer. As it turns out, of course, he wasn't.

The last 2% was Austin and I sure you were having us on as a Slayer

If that had been the case, you would've been killed last. :D
