You probably have me beat, but two handed my hand's not bad. I'm just hoping it's 50/50.

Call.

Drama!

HAND54 Level 6: Blinds 50/100
Incoming bankrollls:
0452 Austin [BB]
1548 Ralph-Wiggum [button/SB]

Preflop action:
Ralph-Wiggum (1498) in SB for 50
Austin (352) in BB for 100
Ralph-Wiggum (1298) raises to 250 (pot: 350)
Austin (all-in) raises to 452 (pot: 702)
Ralph-Wiggum (1096) calls (pot: 904)

As this is head-up, I thought I'd jimmy the format a bit.

Showdown:
Austin shows :5c::4c:
Ralph-Wiggum shows :Ah::Ts:

:5c::4c: !!! Oy vay. That's just the type of hand I typically lose to when I call an all-in (or, more often, when I go all in).

P.S. Does this change of format mean that someone's going to win on the river? :lol:

P.P.S. I would just like to say that right now I have a 59% chance to win the hand. Not great, but better than I hoped.

This'd be more fun if I could find a time when Austin was also online. But no guarantees with regards to who wins either way.

Two to the flop:
The flop comes :Qc::9d::6s:

Not the best card, but not the worst card. My chance to win has moved up to 77%. Austin has 10 outs, if I'm counting correctly.

edit: Gah - I almost forgot to say it. No whammies.

edit 2: time for bed. Guess I'll find out the results in the matins.

Yeah... but don't you ever sit there thinking, "I wonder if I have any more"? No I suppose you wouldn't, for you are a robot. :(

Damn it. I woke up and saw no PMs in my mailbox and figured I had won (since otherwise I should have a PM for the next hand's cards). But no, The Meal was just torturing me and hasn't posted the results yet. :x

And the river comes :Qc::9d::6s::2s::Qs:

Showdown:
Austin shows :5c::4c: for :Qs::Qc::9d::6s::5c:
Ralph-Wiggum shows :Ah::Ts: for :Qs::Qc::Ah::Ts::9d:

And Austin has been eliminated in 2nd place.

Congratulations to Ralph-Wiggum, the Octopus Overlords Single Table No Limit Hold 'Em Champion.

Thanks to everyone who played, it was definitely a learning experience on my end, and hopefully at least a worthwhile diversion on yours.

Congrats. The Degree All-In moment was when you called with 8/9 suited on the flopped straight. Nicely done and good luck in the multi-table.

Woot! Good game everyone. Good game, Austin. Yeah, that 8/9 hand was definitely the turning point. And over the last day I got some crazy good cards for a 3 (really 2) handed table.

edit: And special thanks to the Mealmister. 'Twas lots o' fun.

I'd definitely give that hand the nod for being the difference maker. It didn't help that you caught crap down the stretch. As I was dealing out the cards, I kept wincing at your hole cards (even if oftentimes they'd end up best, I knew that they weren't cards you were going to be able to play). I was dealing out hands one at a time, so I can't tell you if you next hand was going to be significantly better than this last one (which is probably a good thing).

Not as disappointing as when you folded pre-flop to my AA. :wink:

edit: Or maybe you didn't. I can't quite remember. You might have just folded pre-flop to my consecutive AKs and AJs.

It's a mod thing; you wouldn't understand.

I probably folded during my string of 10/4 off suits and like hands. :P
