Nforce2+T7900 in 7.1

I got this speakers and I can`t really get them to play in anything else then 2.1 (haha) I checked the instructions again and I have wired everything correctly.

Someone know if there are common problems with this.

I read some place that the T9000 should be able to run in 7.1\5.1 from cards not made for it...forgot the name...like the soundcard emulates blah blah something.

The obvious thing to check is the speaker setting in the control panel under "Sound and Audio Devices" Make sure it's set to 7.1.
