Actually, it does prove Austin.
Chaos said Austin, Unagi said Austin. Worst case, Chaos and Unagi are cylons, this clears Austin.
If Chaos is cylon, and Unagi is Athena, then Austin is human and vice versa. So Austin is human.
Human yes. You think there won't be a traitor tonight?
Fine trust Austin today. Should you trust him in the morning? Even if he offers to fix breakfast?
Both cleared him, sure did.
For Athena to be ALIVE....Chaos will be cylon. Trig is cylon. Unagi will be cylon. Guess what? There's still 2 cylons left and the traitor. How is Austin cleared?
I tend to agree, but the only other solution is to lynch Scoop. But the facts say that Chaos is more likely who he says who he is. He hasn't been cleared and neither has Austin, but neither are any of us really.
Here is the situation as it appears right now.
1. Grund was Apollo. He was killed first because he is a strong player and Trig and Unagi would have feared his deductive powers.
2. We lynch Newcastle randomishly.
3. They scan Grund. He comes up Apollo. They now hold a fake Apollo card.
4. They decide to kill Remus.
5. Chaos announces he is Athena...to out a cylon and net us a quick kill.
6. Unagi steps up to complicate the situation but creates a logical situation where it becomes easy (but not efficient) to identify who the real Athena is. He names Scoop
7. Trig steps up and plays his fake Apollo card to throw us off our game and dispute his cylonic nature. He says Grund is a doctor. I believe this was to force us to question Scoops late Doctor claim. I tend to believe the Doctor's are all who they say they are, because no one else claimed Doctorhood, and Triggy was definitely lying. That is unless Proner is the doctor and his MIA-ness is being exploited.
