Anyone here have any .net 2.0 experience?

If so, can you give me some explanation about the new way code-behind works in ASP.net now? What little I've been able to read indicates that page files & the old .aspx.cs/vb files are now part of the same class. But I've just caught snippets - we're tyring to use 2.0 for a project and I'm unclear on a few things and can only spend so much of my (not so) precious time trying to research this.
