Now, regarding 'the game at hand'...
I've been playing this whole game this whole time. I've put just as much into this as you - just because you took 6 days off, and hence felt you owed it to us to compose a couple of huge posts, doesn't give your effort any special 'status', it's fair game - like everyone elses.

I know you aren't trying to say that I simply must believe you - but if you aren't saying that - what are you saying? I mean, you really just let me have it up there... and all because I wanted to test you first.

How's this Newcastle.
I found Lassr and pr0ner to be just as possibly evil. I wanted to test you First - because I felt we would benefit FROM YOUR ANALYSIS *only* if we could accept it as 'trusted'. You can not become trusted in this game until you are dead. You are a good first test for that very reason. (this was why pr0ner is such a horrible 'first' test... he's a better "Last Test", but I felt that one of the Quiet Players must be Balaam, and hence best to test you and pr0ner before we test Lassr.

There, that's that. I didin't feel you were obviosully 100% Evil, I felt this was the best order to test our untrusted in.

Unagi - what i am saying is frustration; i pointed out a lot of things in there that i thought were relevant. and it seems as if they were dismissed....look at the "only looking for two section" then look at the "unknown fiasco". I thought those were pretty damn relevant. It just felt as if they were dismissed....because you 100% trust Rev...and i just think you have blinders on is all.

And no, I am not accorded special status due to any length of posts...

I find Newcastle potentially evil. About equal in my head with pr0ner and Lassr.

I feel we have our best chance at finding 'Balaam', due to his probable low profile play.

I feel that's where our first 'miss' (if we have any) should be applied, to the 'balaam' guesses.

The order of my test was to get 1 hit out of Newcastle & pr0ner.

just read through what i said is all. You've ticked me off, but not royally...thats hard to do. Consider me bad, good, evil, nice, jimny cricket, a walrus, whatever...it dont bother me...it's your thought process and your game play...

reason i am ticked...i felt like you kept on asking for it and asking..pestering almost...look back to this morning, it seemed like every 30 minutes...you asked is it done yet? then when it's done, its a smear campaign. I just dont like my intentions to be misconstrued like that.

You know this point you made that I was totally pushing you and making you uncomfortable while making this large post of yours bothered me, because I remember I purposefully tried to avoid that. So I went back, and here is how that all played out in real time.

Sat @ 3:59pm, you say you are going to suck it up and start to help.
Sat @ 4:11pm, you tell us not to expect anything until later in the day.

It was large but you noted that you weren't actually done, you had more, but that we could probably see where you were going.

I honestly could not. Don't get me wrong, I could sense Rev was working up your list, but I couldn't tell what you were making of Scoop, pr0ner, or Lassr at all *(hence the smear feeling I got).

By this point in time, I never once pressed you to hurry up, etc.

and to top it off, been feeling the burnout effect; that coupled with not exactly enthusiastic about doing it....loss of time i could be doing other things over the weekend, because I knew it would be a lot of work. Yes, i did do other things over teh weekend, but that really dominated it. Hell it was a nice sunday here, did I go out and enjoy it...no I was slaving away working on it.

Then for it to be dismissed as such.....wouldn't that tick you off too?

and sorry if I wanted to do other things in my life Unagi; i love playing these games at times, but I try not to obsess over em too much..sometimes i do...and well I put in that effort that I felt everyone deserved. I put away my reluctance to do it...shelved teh burnout feelings.... i wanted to make a good strong effort...and thorough and in order to do that...well i had to be that thorough.

so putting that out there, putting the work in, then for it to be so casually dismissed.

Unagi, i went back through the whole frigging thread...all of it..I would like to see you do that and come back with all of that...then have someone dismiss it...and then not only that...say nope...think you're evil... i think you would then understand my position.

and yes you came across as whiny loud and clear....that also didn't help.

I don't agree that I was pressing you. My time stamp message was meant to show the timeline, and I felt it showed that I did not press you, over and over and over and over like you suggested. I am not trying to have the last word, but I don't need to continue to talk about it either. I accept how you took it, and I understand.

I do understand where you are coming from.
and therefor - I don't feel there is any chance you are evil. You wouldn't play -hurt- on the level that you did. You wouldn't personally address me the way you did unless you were truly dejected by my play. So, no - I am not going to say how you may be Evil. Had to comment on this META. I will never use META to make a play in the game. Whether I'm good or evil in this game has nothing to do with my META statements. March is POP time at NASA where we start doing our FY10 budget submittal to congress and it is spring break this week for my kids.

SO please do not take into consideration my META statements when determining which side I'm on in this game. If I am evil or good it would be the same level of participation.

No. I don't buy this - none of it.

My top suspects (in order) are:

Newcastle
pr0ner
Lassr

I feel that Newcastle or pr0ner is likely Balaam.
I feel that Lassr or pr0ner is likely Legion.

The only way we get to actually have 3 misses is if we hit Once in our first Two tries.
So, lets try and do just that (or Better).
My plan to maximize our misses is to put the two people who I think are most likely to generate a 'Hit' as the first two lynch choices.
Newcastle would be my first shot. (if he dies 'Good', we can take his analysis more to heart, if we don't we'll still have the Newcastle concern hanging over us)
Should I live tonight, tomorrow I would test pr0ner. (and if I die, I strongly suggest we continue to follow this plan.)

Yes, I see what both of you see in each other here. Believe me, I do. I think you are both wrong. I've thought a lot about it, and I am fairly satisfied with that. Could I be wrong? Well, I'm human and won't try and insist I am always right, but I have not come to this conclusion lightly, and I do feel good regarding it. I strongly urge the two of you to accept one another.

this has been one of the more challenging games time wise. I usually keep a nice excel spreadsheet with events each game day and notes. I have resorted to quick sticky notes this game. Half at home and half at work. I'll be back to work tomorrow and I'll have access to the notes I made last week.

Unagi, no need to apologize to Newcastle, you're just doing your job. I think his brain imploded from all that reading and taking notes. I know mine would and I wouldn't have it in me to do that.

So, on Newcastle's novel:
It's seems to me that he actually did what he said, I mean he provided links, so this is not a case of saying he read it all and gave a summary. So nice job Newcastle. Kudos, whatever.

Now, I too, like Unagi, wondered if this was a very elaborate scheme to frame RevHempus. Some of the stuff he points out didn't do much to convince me about RevHempus but other stuff I had noticed before his post.

I've said I thought Rev or Scoop was Legion. I've been trying to nail the active demon first because if it comes down to Newcastle or pr0ner then to be honest I'm not sure which way I'd vote. I was leaning Newcastle but damn that was a lot of effort for a demon.

If the demons are pr0ner and Newcastle then I think we are screwed but I just can't see 2 quiet demons (although Newcastle has more than made up for his quietness).

I don't know where to begin. I am shocked at the emotion displayed here of late. If I am the cause of such reaction, I am sorry.

Now, Newcastle you have done a hell of a job going over the entire thread. However, it reads to me like you went throught the thread with blinders on about me. I am a simple Priest as you must be. I actually find myself wishing I could have come to this conclusion without the emotion outburst(not meant to belittle anything...OK).

I am not afraid to die, but testing me will be a miss.

Given the state of affairs at this time my suspect list is very narrow.

I will say, everything I have done this game, both intentional and non, have served a purpose. It will be seen in post game. This is the first game I actually tried to play for myself. I tried not to be led around. It may have appeared to be at times, but I was still playing my game. Look over your notes and think, what badguys would let me do what I have done. You see, maybe I am wrong, but I only see one team in these games. The badguys. The goodguys are are on thier own untill an unkown time when someone gets outed.

This is interesting.
This would imply that we have 3 simple priests (Newcastle,Scoop,pr0ner)pointing at one Demon (Rev), and the two Demons (Rev/Lassr) left pointing off in other directions?

(or we have a demon in the mix giving up a demon Rev)

I'm surprised you really think Rev is worth testing. I don't think he is Evil. However, I have been wrong before (yes, I know, shocking). Additionally, the closer we get to Easter, the less time I'll have to think about this. While this might actually be a good thing for the Temple, I also don't want to hold anything up.

So, while I still think pr0ner is a much better choice, I'm willing to go with Rev if that is what people want.

And when Unagi dies tonight, then I just have to fight Scoop for Alpha Brother status and the Temple is Mine! All MINE!!! AHAHHAHAHAHHA!

I will say Scoop, you are going to hate me more when you find out I am an innocent. You have been consitently correct about your inability to read me.

Pr0ner, even though I can't read you, I won't ever hate you. I really enjoy your effect on the game.

That being said, if you think you have some examples of how you have been "playing" the game that can point me in a direction other than voting for you, I am interested in hearing them.

Right now, I have:
Rev - Legion
pr0ner/Lassr - Balaam

Here are my current feelings:

-->Lassr voted Scoop20906 (consistent whole game long)
-->Rev voted first for Scoop20906 then switched to pr0ner. Rev has asked to be tested tomorrow, and not today (Hmmmm)
-->pr0ner voted for Rev after Rev tried implicate him.
-->Newcastle gave his findings that pr0ner is a demon but has a vote on himself currently (PLEASE drop this)
-->Unagi thinks newcastle is a demon due to his inactivity for a majority of the game.
-->Zurai is undecided
-->Stessier thinks Rev is innocent, wants to vote for pr0ner

So far, nothing to change my mind about Rev but if I am wrong, please I want to hear a ton of "I told you so" for my screw up.

withdraw Scoop

I lack the confidence in my Scoop pick to stick with it. I've been wrong many times in these end day situations (except for the last game, it was Grundbegriff dammit!).

I'll go with my #2 RevHempus. The separation between #1 scoop and #2 Rev is not enough to make me stick to my guns.
