Excellent. I've wanted a shot at you on the table ever since I saw this gem:

Hard to read someone else accross the screen, but we'll see how you do... ;)

There are a few of you lads I've wanted to give a good thrashing to for a while now :)

I consider nine an acceptable number. If we don't get a tenth by tomorrow morning the I'll start prepping and sending out seating, put someone on the button, and deal cards then.

I am impatient!!
As courtesy players should PM the next player with their action though this will not be required.

Players have 48 hours to be timed out by any other player. The dealer may also time out another player.
Probably should add a provision to PM out-of-turn actions, such as folding, to the moderator in an effort to speed things up. If you're up for contingent actions, such as: "if Bubba checks then I'll raise to 400, if Bubba bets some number up to 200, then I'll reraise to an amount four times as much," could also speed things along. If you go this route, it's good to remind players that they should also keep tabs on the thread (just PMing you their actions are not enough) in an effort to speed things along.

Can we start yet? :horse:

I'll make the formal start tonight.

I can let you think about seating in the mean time though (Ace high, Suit order of Spades, Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds):

1 :Kh: The Meal 2nd (SB)
2 :8h: Spacelord 6th
3 :Tc: ScubaV 4th
4 :9s: MHS 5th
5 :3d: Ninyu 8th
6 :Jh: Austin 3rd (BB)
7 :3s: JC Anejo 7th
8 :2h: Remus West 9
9 :Ks: Semaj 1st (Button)

1 Semaj (Button)
2 The Meal (SB)
3 Austin (BB)
4 ScubaV
5 MHS
6 Spacelord
7 JC Anejo
8 Ninyu
9 Remus West

The first hand will commence in a new thread when I get home. ScubaV will open. You should have PMs by 18:00 EST. After that things will move quicker on my part as well.

Now you at least have something to think about and notes to take. Ante increases every 12 hands according to the other thread. I consolidate it all into one thread later. I'd start now, but y'all know how sloppy I can be if I am not giving 100% and a lot proof reading to my organizing and posting.

Actually, given the length of time we'll all be playing against one another, I would think it would be pretty easy to develop a feel for someone's play based on their actions. But I rely on the luckbox factor to win, so who needs notes on my opponents or intuition?

I demand a spoiler forum for this game so the :pop: can see what all the hands were!

Hey, I don't see you make mistakes often at all. And sometimes, as we know, the cards play themselves.

If you can get my eight opponents to agree, I have no trouble with including my cards with the spoilers.

Shhhhh. You'll ruin my carefully crafted image as the dumb (but irresistably attractive) chick at the table.

Edited to add: I have no problem with hands being revealed *after* the gameplay is done.

If proper arrangements can be made (whatever people agree on) at all, then I can be amiable to the idea. I'm not going to make those arrangements but I will forward hand information. I could talk in spoiler forum at least. As now I get to say nothing but simply watch. I can be bad with the accidental kibbitz. Basically I'm not only a dealer but an omniscient dealer who can see hands, the river, and deals in advance, so I have to keep my mouth shut.

Sorry, I forgot poker players don't show their cards at the end. Was just hoping to play along in the cheap seats. Don't worry about it. :D

I'm down for letting people somewhat see how I play... (spoiler forum) As long as he agrees not to announce my intentions (I always like to give clear cut directions of my plannings in case I leave and my turn comes up) so I look mildly less dumb than I probably will.

I'm fine with showing hands. I am by no means a serious player and don't plan to win or lose any large sums of money from any of you at any time. :P
