It is the 41st millennium. For the more than a hundred centuries the Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. he is the master of mankind by will of the gods, and master of million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the Imperium for whom a thousand Souls are sacrificed every day, so the he may never truly die.

Yet even in his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the daemon-infested miasma of the Warp, the only route between distant stars, thier way lit by the Astronomican, the psychic manifestation of the Emperor's Will. Greatest amongst His soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bio-engineered super warriors. Their comrade in arms are legion: the Imperial Guard and countless planetary defence forces, the ever-vigilant Inquisition and the tech-priest of the Adeptus Mechanicus to name only a few. But for all their multitudes , they are barely enough to hold off the ever present threat from aliens, heretics, mutants - and worse
. - Open paragraphs from Warhammer novels

On the way back to thier Fortress Monastary after being relieved from the posting near the Eye of Terror the Dark Angels Second Company is assaulted during the jump through the warp. Several battle-brothers have been killed secretly. Soon the Company's Librarian has sensed the taint of Chaos amongst his brothers. The arch-enemy must be culled before they reach home....

Aren't there two other games ahead of this? That means it could be like two months before this gets started, right?

Why is this one canceled? I was looking for a good excuse to kill Chaos first. I was just waiting for the AP game to end before signing up to make sure I still had time to play. :(

I was under the impression that trig felt his game would run quickly enough that it would not interfere with other games. I'd still like this one to go. I like tru1cy games. I have a good record in them. Poke the innocents and all.

Oops, I should have explained. Work, has been hectic since I took a new position and I don't know if I can effectively moderate the game. Since I normally play at work I thought it would be best to call the game. I didn't take any slight about Trig running his game.

I'm glad it wasn't because of triggercut's game. I figured they'd go on at the same time. :(

My BSG game would be next in line but I could not start that game until late October due to work and vacation right now. So if anyone wants to start one after the Dr Evil game then feel free to do so.

Are you going to be adding any of the time limit rules that have been discussed to move the game along?

For those who have played in Tru1cy's games, he is a much more attentive mod then player. ;)
