Larry: "What a great night here at the OOWF (Octopus Overlords Wrestling Federation) tonight the "Battle to end all Battles" occurs. It's essentially a giant rumble between all our best competitors in a style similar to another federation who I am sure has the name we might use copyrighted.. But rumor has it it's fairly royal in occurance, and a rumble too boot."
Tug: "Careful there Larry, you are pressing the issue a bit too far."
Larry: "Like anyone from that money grubbing federation is going to read this."
Tug: "Too True, too true."
Larry: "I'd talk about how great our competitors are, but unfortunately no one has signed up yet..."
Tug: "The bastards!"
Larry: "So instead we'll talk about the rules and how you win.... Afterwards, there will be a quick commercial break and off we go!"
RULES:
Upfront stuff:
1) We will start off with 4 people in the ring. You need 3 votes to send someone over the first time. it of course will change as the game does, lol. Every 2 minutes (1 minute = a day? And a weekend counts as a day) another contestant/victim/sucker/sado masochist will enter the ring.
2) I wont be announcing everyones powers, you know everyone has other powers, you just wont know until they use em. You will know 1 power from every person, whether it be scouting or the fact the guy is just plain huge or strong. It's the one freebie power everyone knows. But every wrestler will have tricks up their sleeves so be careful.
3) When a person gets tossed out, there will be a pause (roughly a day)before the next person can be thrown out. One would argue this is Mic time, when the announcers shill whomever tossed him out and whatever. I would argue a good lynch group would quickly wipe out everyone in the ring if I dont give people time to form new alliances and backstab.
4) I will be keeping random stats: Longest in the ring, person who went the farthest, most toss outs, etc. And probably do a cute little write up of every throw out. I figure it'll add ot the ambiance.
5)I want Entrance music and a wrestling name/style. It'll be fun, dont worry about being someone else, this is strictly to be fun, not to determine something.
6) The time for a new person to enter is set in stone, as such, if you have a deadlock, eventually someone new will come down to the ring and end it. If he doesn't, the next person will. If it seems there is an impass and everyone agree's no one is changing their votes, I will randomly (random.org) choose someone to throw out. I do not want this game stagnating and stalling. I don't expect this to be an issue or a problem, but you just never know.
7) I will roll up everyones "Powers" randomly before we start and allow those who have the team mate power to know who their team mate is. If there is an odd number of team mates, the solo teamer will gain a specific as of yet unknown power to make him life less annoying.
8) only the last person in the ring wins. When you are down to two, if both have no way to throw the other out, a tie-breaking vote will be made, by everyone who played as to who should win. Yes this sucks, but can you think of any other way when it's down to two?
9)When you place a vote on someone phrase it as : "I attempt to throw X" out. Because you are attempting to, not doing. This is how you end up with 3 guys holding onto the ropes for dear life in a royal rumble. People are trying to get em to go.
10) When you attempt to use a special, Announce it, unless it's a "Silent Special" in which case pm me. The person you are using it on, will get a chance to respond to stop it (Some powers negate, others have ways to turn it around, etc.) and if they don't in a specific time limit, or they cannot do anything and no one else does, the game will continue. This is one of the main reason I want a pause before/after someone is tossed, to make certain they had a chance to do something.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wrestling powers:
Wily Veteran - The ability to negate Any power of an attacking player (On you, or on someone else)
Quick Toss - The ability to throw any Non-Super Heavy out of the ring.
Super Heavy(y) - You need at least (x+y) people to throw you out, where X is the current majority and y is the Super Heavy bonus number, y will not be announced unless someone likes to share his coolness after getting it.
Super Strong - You counts as 2-3 people for tossing someone out (Some people are strong, some people are just plain ridiculous).
Secret Alliance - you can pm one person of your choosing. They can pm you back, but it only lasts the day.
Vicious Finisher - "Knock out" someone else for 1 day. They cannot post or use powers until the day is over. This power cannot be used on the same person 2 days in a row to cut down on douchbaggery.
Amazing save - Save 1 person from being thrown out. That person cannot be the target of the next days lynch.
Roll Back under the ropes - Ignore the result of a lynch/throw/ability out that would send you over, you cannot be the target of a throw out until someone else is thrown out.

Take someone with you - You can take one of the tossing players with you when they throw you out of the ring.

Questions/Notes:
If anyone has other ideas for powers, or thinks a power is ridiculous (as a few are) ask about them. Some of the better powers have limits to amount of times they can be used.
Also if you are in: I need : A Wrestlers Name, His Wrestling Style (Name another wrestler, or if you have no Idea: power, Technical, High Flying, street Fighter, all-around, MMA are in theory types) and his theme song.
Example:
El Guaccamole (Yes, I once made a wrestler with this name), a Luchadore style wrestler (High Flying) who else enjoyed submission moves. His Theme song was la Cucaracha (The cockroach) and he while attempting to be a luchadore, he was 6'6" and 265 pounds. IN actuality, he was a heavyweight wrestler who dressed up like a luchadore to win the lightweight title....
You do not need to get this descriptive... : El Guaccamole, Luchadore, La Cucaracha also works fine. But I figure if you spend 30 seconds making up a cute little write up for you guy, it makes the game that much more entertaining trying to keep him alive.
