tru1cy wrote:I think I need to call the game. I gave wrong information to the EC about one of thier scans that could have effected the game. They scanned a special and told them that it was a normal. I corrected the error, but I think I need to be fair to both sides. I would like opinion if we should carry on?
Well, this is a monday morning wake me up. :coffee:

Ok, let me see if I get this straight. The baddies scanned someone and you told them that they were a normal but you corrected the error.

Did you correct the error before they chose who to kill? I am guessing not.

So, now we know that the baddies either,

A) Scanned Remus, saw he was normal and then killed him and then found out he was a special
B) Scanned someone else, saw they were normal, and then killed Remus, then found out that their scan was a special after all.

Either way, one of our specials is dead (Remus) or scanned and likely the target tonight. I wouldnt be surprised if they convert the special too. That means we know they could fake that role. If its out Seer thats bad news.

But, now we know about it too. Kudos to tru1cy for being up front about it at least. I know moderating a game can be difficult at times. I think you made the right choice in letting us know.

I realize you are giving us a vote but I think if you really feel the game has been compromised then you have to call it and re-roll. I'm sure that Austin and Chaos will just kill Remus again anyway.

I still think we can get through the game but I will vote re-roll since I think I know how tru1cy feel.

I was for playing on if it was determined by tru1cy that it didn't really affect the game. I have no inside info to make a vote but I'd hate to have another game end with an asterisk next to the winning team so we may want to re-roll. I'm letting tru1cy decide.

I'm with the re-roll. Mainly, cause if I had checked the correct spread sheet then it might have changed the EC's kill order. I'm going to hold off to let a few more chime in, but at this point I think we should start over today.

Again, I apologize for the error, but I want the game to be fair

Wouldn't it be great, though, if you came back as a wolf and got your revenge? I mean, who would see that coming??

Tah-dah!

Magically, stessier condemns Remus to a first day lynch and one of today's wolves to an untimely night time death.

It would really be great if you could start over today (if that is the final choice). We should still be able to get in one day before Christmas. That would be swell.

I'll re-roll at this point. I will not release rolls for this game as I would not want anyone jaded from the previous game and I request that previous special not to reveal any information . Expect new rolls to be sent out by 5 pm est

It's the baddies gameplay that is now in bad shape because misinformed scan. If the bad guys are OK with this and want to continue -> Continue. If baddies want to reroll -> reroll.

As a side note I was little confused and yes I'm giving my role away.. If you're a norm maybe you could send us a confirmation of our roles whether we are a special or not.

I did get spoilers BTW so if folks feel they should have them....
I am not going to give them though since tru1cy said he did not want them out. I'll let him if he changes his mind.

I just really think that it is more fair for everyone to know, since 1 guy (Remus) knows who everyone was - and it looks like 2 wolf-guys know who 2 other-guys were.

If there is some advantage to knowing. Remus holds the advantage.
If there is some advantage to not knowing, everyone else has something on Remus.
If there isn't an advantage to knowing, what's the harm in sharing.
If there isn't an advantage to not knowing, well - you get the idea... :D

I think it's 100% right to honor tru1cy's request not to reveal. Absolutely.

I am simply making my plea to tru1cy to change his mind.

You've convince me to go from passive ambivalence to active campaigning. Add my voice to those who think we should know the roles.
