Well, while I was indeed
totally serious - it looks like you blew off my main point:

I don't know
what Mr.Bubbles is in this game.
And I don't know if his excuses are
real,
convenient, or perhaps even
both.
I just can't stand when a player is in these games and then basically becomes a totally blank sheet of paper.
I realize and accept that it's just Real Life, and we all just need to deal with how it pans out in these games.
I didn't shoot him - but I seriously would have done it if I didn't feel like half of the poeple playing the game (myself included) would have been annoyed to lose someone without the chance for them to say anything in their defense... And as you said - it looked like Mr Bubbles was saying "See you after the Hard Deadline for this day has
Expired!!" - and well, that just sucks from a "Game Playing Enjoyment" point of view.
If he ends up being Evil, how can it not be said that he just totally meta slipped away from the noose (or bullet, in this case).
AND - to be fair to the Wolves of this game: If he ends up being a SPECIAL, how can it not be said that he just totally meta slipped away from being forced by me to Self-Out ? The 'meta' excuses swing both ways, and I've been annoyed by them from both sides of the fence.

On first blush, I totally agree with you. But, you know - Revhempus found the time to post in the Evil thread,
about his desire to not post in the Game Thread , in the game he nearly won
due to his absenteeism. My point being that sometimes there is a Meta-Reason for an absence that forces you to actually leverage that Meta-Reason for tactical advantage. And that sucks.
