Since we did not get the report via Tru1cy, we can only assume that our Apothecary is dead - and well, that you are a fake.

So... I'd love to hear why it is that Tru1cy didn't leave us the anonymous report on Theohall's Geneseed.

It would appear that you have some 'splainin to do.
The Apothecary learns the role of the person that they get the geneseed from so effectively I can only scan one person per night. As long as the apothecary is alive then the mod should announce if they are tainted or not.

So far I have scanned only Mipe and Theohall and both game up normals.

When tru1cy checks in I am sure he will correct this. If not, then I guess I could be a sleeper baddie (a la BSG). :?:

Actually, you have no info on Lassr (if we are to believe you are the special), simply because you have 1 Scan / Night... Having nothing to do with tru1cy.

So, um - yeah - tonight (real life), I plan to place my vote for you unless you can get tru1cy to clear it up.

Otherwise - damn, what were you thinking "faking" Apothecary? Poor move, but - meh, maybe it's part of the master plan...

Cause, yeah.... If we missed on Lassr and Theohall....

And Scoop is the Exploding Bad Guy, and we lynch him - it's game over.

Day 4 will begin with:
2 Good vs 2 Bad

Austin -
Remus West -
ChaosRaven -
Purge -
Mr. Bubbles -

Our 2 "trusted" players should obstain from voting, until the players above make their intensions clear.

With two specials out already, I think it would be very useful for the remaining specials to come out so we can create a trusted block of votes to confront the baddies 2 or 3 voting block.

Its possible that both Lassr and Stessier were the two remaining specials. That would suck.

Thoughts?

I agree. Both Unagi and Scoop are trusted, as far as I'm concerned. That leaves the following:

Unagi - Terminator
Scoop - Apothocary
Purge - Good
Austin - ?
Remus West - ?
ChaosRaven - ?
Mr. Bubbles - ?

We have a 1 in 4 chance of lynching a good person.
We have a 1 in 4 chance of lynching the 'zerk', although Tru1cy had described the victim that goes with him as "random". Does that mean random (determined by mod/chance), and if so does that include ANY others or just the good? Of was the word random a mistake, and it's where the zerk can choose his target?
I would like to apologize to anyone I have not offended.
Please be patient - I will get to you shortly.

A ton of space for the 2 that come out (or the 1) to be faking a Special at this point.

I am not sure how I would react to the data they provide.

Also, while I sorta 'welcome' some news from the Librarian....

The Chaplin may as well stay quiet and try and just throw a monkey wrench into one of their night plans.

I would think it a pretty silly move to do while the Apothecary still lives for Scoop to make that play save in the senario which you mentioned. If we missed on Theo (which either way we can assume since Scoop telling truth = Theo normal and Scoop lying impies Theo = normal) and on Lassr (no way to tell at this point) then we can not afford to lynch the Berserker before the other two die. I can only see an Evil Scoop making that play as the Berserker.

So, either way, we should not be lynching Scoop today.

Which leaves us:
Austin
Remus West
ChaosRaven
Purge
Mr. Bubbles

Hiding either 2 or 3 Evils.

I know me and I still lean Good for Bubbles so that means I am going to look very hard at Austin, Chaosraven, and Purge today as they are either the three Evils or 2 of the 3 of them are with Scoop.

The other game that I remember having a "random" zerker target was I think the Floating Point (Get Smart) game...

And, if I recall correctly, that was truly random.... it could have hit ANY of the remaining players (good or bad).
(but it happened to hit really well, if I recall)

Yep!

Ok, Unagi, I know who I am going to vote for but per your request, I'm keeping quiet until the others come out of the woodworks.

However, I will point to one thing: why would Remus mention he considers Bubbles good? Hes got zero proof either way.

I already mentioned why I think Bubbles is likely a vanilla good and why Purge is either special or Evil but you are correct that I have no proof. Thus the lean rather than a declaration.

Because the only way I see Scoop faking evil is if he is the Berserker and they are waiting for the Apothecary to challenge him. Then we are faced with the decision to lynch Scoop (who goes boom) and lose or lynch the challenger and lose (assuming Lassr was a miss, which again was in the conditions I said for Scoop to make this play).

I am assuming that Scoop is not lying but it is a possibility that I am not going to ignore.

I remember why we felt Purge was either Special or Evil - (and Purge, you need to address that).

I don't remember why Bubbles is vanilla - but if you say that you have said all you are going to say to that point, Remus, I guess we'll just need to consider that.

Remus West wrote:I am assuming that Scoop is not lying but it is a possibility that I am not going to ignore.
I am.

Scoop vs. The Real Apothecary:
If I was the Real Apothecary, I would have 'contested Scoop' by scanning Lassr last night.

Since no challenge, we need to operate on the premise that Scoop is good, and at this time I'm assuming he's the apothocary as he claims he is.

I'd say that our Librarian should step forward now with whatever scans he has, and the Chaplin should also step forward (if they still live).

We are one miss from losing so this is not something we can risk.

Thoughts (from the trusted)?

I had shared what I thought on that before, but I'll say more.

Basically, we will need to take any claims now with a grain of salt - and as such - no one just becomes trusted by claiming a role.
(as I am sure we all know and agree...)

Ultimately it's up 'to them'.

Librarian:
For instance, if the Seer is sitting on data that involves info on 'the living un-trusted', they may as well share it - I think.
Coming out tomorrow, even with a "I finally have a wolf", after our likely Apothecary is dead - will not likely help us make a choice... as we'll not know if we can trust it. If the Librarian scanned Unagi and Scoop, I see no value to even share a thing...

Chaplin:
For some reason, I am leaning that the Chaplin should stay quiet - and try and screw up one of these Night-Kills, but the more I think about it - I don't know if it really matters At All - as - well, The EC likely know exactly what the layout of the game is at this point. A Chaplin should perhaps come out, if he can protect himself tonight.

I will say it again: The EC likely know exactly what the layout of the game is at this point.

BTW, I thought my intentions were clear enough. I need to reread the thread. I have stated my belief that Purge, Austin, and Chaosraven must be our evil guys. So I intend to go back and see who was acting most "good" before the first actual night to try and figure who I think is the berserker. Then vote for either of the other two.
