I really don't understand why people didn't vote Austin. I'm at a loss.

I didn't vote Austin because you were to ripe a target. Does that help?

Unagi wrote:Mr.B, When and Where did I "meta you away" ?

I didn't.

And - to that point, and for what it's worth, this vote I have on you is based entirely on the messages in the posts you have made.

If your game wasn't sufficient to garner my trust and/or belief that you are good - why is that all of a sudden my problem?

As far as 'Remuside' goes, this is a great example of why I am voting for you. Taunting a player is something I have seen wolves do time and time again.
Oh my dear Unagi Wolves do it... Innocents do it.... That in itself means nothing, but actually I was talking more about Scoop. I don't meta and I don't use RL as a cover for my role. No doubt my absence hurt the good guys.. Not that it wasn't stacked to begin with, but for that I apologize. I didn't expect to be away from the internet as much as I was.

So I intend to go back and see who was acting most "good" before the first actual night to try and figure who I think is the berserker. Then vote for either of the other two.
I hate to say it and ruin all the suspense, but I'm leaning toward remus's accusations. Chaos has not been the typical Chaos he has been in previous games. His participation has been spotty. Austin seems the most evil out of all three. His quick responses when he is being accused is very suspect. Purge, while I lean toward him I am still the least sure about him.
 Austin

. I think he is our best bet as of right now. It just seems too calculated. I tend to think Chaos was the one who was converted or he is pretty bold.
Chaosraving wrote:My partners, Purge and Bubbles have left it up to me to answer for them it appears.

And Purge would like to admit to being Chaos.

Wait, I think I read his PM wrong.

Er, uh, HI!
This post leads me to believe he was the one converted or was a very bold fella.
To answer your question Purge is I was kept alive because well there is always a air of suspicion, but when I'm unusually quiet of course you want to keep me alive. I'm a suspicion magnet. I just wanted to make sure people knew my participation would change for the better. No more absenteeism.
I am kind of proud of my analysis. I was more certain about two and uncertain about Purge. I can die well.

Mr. Bubbles(4) - Austin, Unagi, Scoop20906, Purge

Austin: Bubbles

Unagi: Bubbles

Scoop: Bubbles

Purge: Bubbles

Remus: Bubbles

Remus used his power sword with deadly skill and beheaded Bubbles before he could protest.

'See Brothers? How easily these Dark Angels are lead", chuckled Austin. His eyes starting to glow with the power of the Warp.

"Yes, Sorcerer", replied Remus with glee while holding his bolt pistol in one hand and his recently used power sword in the other. " Hmph, and they call us the fallen ones."

Chaosraven steps out of the shadows holding a Heavy Bolter,"My champion" bowing to Remus. "Thank you for opening my eyes to the true power of the Old Gods."

"Kill them!" shouted Austin. The slaughter was brutal but efficient.

Emperor's Children Wins!

Austin – Sorcerer

Remus West – Champion

Chaosravens: Convert

Purge – Librarian

Stessier – Chaplin

Scoop – Apothecary

Unagi – Terminator

First games roles can now be released

Thank you all for playing

Ha... Ha... I even got Chaos as the convert right. I die a happy man. Now Remus on the other hand.. damnit.. I had this nagging suspicion that he could be a guilty party and I denied it in my final analysis, but I got two and the convert right. Not bad for someone who read it all through in about an hour.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Yeah, so I scanned Unagi the first night (hence the  when he came out as the terminator) and the overwhelming disappointment with Scoop when he announced his role.

I picked Unagi because he's generally a hard read; I picked scoop because he was next on the chopping block.

I debated coming out before Theo's vote, and hoped that I would have been protected. Involving the group would have been fabulous; I would have likely found an EC at that point. Sorry for letting you folks down. :(

I want to know who Purge's scans were and what stessier's protection choices were. We figured stessier for a first night self protect then for either Unagi or Scoop (didn't really matter as we wanted to be rid of the Chaplin anyway).

edit: Well, that takes care of one of them.

Bubbs, your absence was similar to other people's wolf tactics (look at Chaos, almost absent.)

In hindsight we should have killed the known even if we had others die. It would have reduced their numbers and cleared the air. I don't think I was going to make it to the next morning, but my info was useless.

What was the EC night scans like? Who did you pick to find out who they were, and did you adjust your kills accordingly? I don't really care to register and check the channel; I'm just interested in a high-level account of it.

BTW, for those of you thinking it was stacked against the good guys, realize that even with Unagi shooting a good guy, the fast lynches on mipe and Theo, all that was needed for us to lose was Purge to have had better luck in his scan choices. Unagi being the Terminator as a scan and Scoop being another openly special as the second scan hurt you more than anything else. Had those scans been any combination involving Bubbles we were hosed.

It was a challenging game for sure, but the odds were better for the EC's than in the standard WW games. There was less hiding, and we're on Day 3 with total failure.

That being said I'd LOVE to play this game again with enough people and all three sides.

Tru1cy, TYVM for an excellent game ... and sorry for badgering you about the ruleset. :)

My absence was not a result of active choices I made therefore said nothing about my innocence or guilty, which is what frustrated me.

We never really used a forum so that is not an option.

Night 1 - Scan stessier -result Chaplin. Figure self protect. Convert Chaosraven so he will stop whining that I never convert him when I am evil.

Night 2 - We know we are killing stessier so figure what the heck, lets go ahead and check Scoop.

Night 3 - Tip back a few cold beers in celebration while trying not to slip on the bloody floor. Perhaps use Purge's head as a mop to clean some of it up.

BTW, I wanted Chaosraven to come out today as the Librarian and name Purge as the Sorcerer. I figured that way you could either believe him or not but since we felt Purge the only likely Librarian candidate left, his counter "You are not the Librarian, I am" claim would have been hard to get folks to buy.

BTW, CR's lessened posting had nothing to do with tactics and more to do with available time.

What I was not going to comment on regarding Bubbles was that, had I been innocent, I would have read him as innocent. The folks who were away came back in different manners. Purge came back engaged which implied Special or Evil (obviously I knew which). Chaosraven made attempts to contribute when he was available, at least a little. Bubbles appeared only to post "I won't be able to be around" showing no knowledge or real engagement in the game itself to that point. Of them all, that behavior says "vanilla normal" to me. All that is Meta though so I was trying not to talk about any of it. I mentioned that Bubbles seemed innocent and that Purge seemed special or evil but tried to avoid providing my reasoning for either.

O rly? Was it my participation because that has changed a bit because my availability has changed. (Yesterday I was in classes all day and attended a funeral at night etc...) In any case it felt a bit stacked but, good game.

The First Game:

Unagi: Sorcerer
Scoop: Converter

We scanned mipe on night 1 and were told he was a normal marine.
We killed our second guess of special: Remus - and he was the Apothecary.

Then we were told that mipe was really the Shooter.

I was ready to push on Purge and Austin and stessier or Chaos as the convert. But I'm not sure I ever would have picked up on Remus.

Just goes to show that if the two of you finally agree the group should go in the opposite direction. When you argue then it becomes a coin toss.

I protected myself on Semaj's night and then again on the real first night (since Semaj's night didn't count).

I stink as protector. Should have made me Librarian. I told you all it was Austin.

I strongly suspected Chaos in my re-read right before my death.

Remus I only began to slightly suspect on Friday, but I doubt it would have been enough to get me to vote for him. He just moved from neutral to fishy.

You had the gun. It was easy...just point it elsewhere and "BANG." :P

What, like we wouldn't have believed you after it had gone off? You could have just said "I was testing Remus and he failed. Now we wait and see." Simple.

You could have thought "if I get scanned they won't attack me thinking I will self-protect" then you could have been free to protect yourself the final night when you died. Of course if we think that you think that then we would attack you...so you can not chose the cup in front of you.

And I had three days of you saying I was special to fall back on, as well as the facepalm explanations and Unagi hitting the nail on the head sometime on day 2 (man, I thought I was dead for sure ... had I come out I think stess would have died protecting me, but with the group input today would have been very different).

Oh, and I also left a Mipe-dropping here in the "prehistoric" section:

Or were you kidding about lynching him?

Funny enough, if I had more time available, I probably would have done the "I'm the Librarian, and Purge is the Sorcerer"
We had discussed it behind the scenes, and I had indeed left a Night One "Librarian" clue to try to draw the EC to me (taking the bullet for our Specials).

Then I discussed the option of just the Plain Vote without Explanation.
I did that and you guys managed to finish this off before I got home...
"Where are you off to?"
"I don't know," Snufkin replied.
The door shut again and Snufkin entered his forest, with a hundred miles of silence ahead of him.
