This has been on my mind. It's happened before which is why I'm not happy that tru1cy has decided to go AWOL. Do we trust Kraegor to scan tru1cy while we take out Brendan or do we kill Kraegor. I don't have my mind made up yet, but will certain think about it. We do need to be careful we do not bandwagon just yet, but since there should only be one more I think it's safe to say the baddie wouldn't do anything stupid just yet.

just as a side note I am leaning toward Brendan as the last baddie, but I could be wrong.

Yes, your snark/sentence ratio is down to 0.31 this game, having peaked on day 4 of the previous game at 0.81, before maintaining a rolling average of 0.74.

Were you not a bad guy last game? Using habits developed as a bad guy to persuade us you are now a good guy might not be the best tactic.
Something to be said for lynching Kraegor is that he has the Coconut. However, it also says don't lynch him since he has the Coconut which means he could have used it last night but there was no conversion so he probably can not use it (doesn't mean that he is Normal, just that he is probably not UR-Grue). Also, the Thief is going to move it regardless of what we do so targeting the nut is rather pointless really.

What if a baddie has the coconut. I.E. Mipe gave it to the wrong (I.e. an evil who scanned as non implementor)
He sure as hell cannot admit to having it, since he needs it to convert someone tonight.

My point... as much as I know it illogical I can't help but be suspicious of Remus... I think I've been trained by the bell.
Maybe I should have stated I know it was illogical to begin with.

It is not illogical, it is impossible. Only a NORMAL could have used the sword in the manner I did.

Chaosraven, the problem I have with looking at the day 1 voting is that not all the Evils knew each other (even with the assumption that the Imps had their forum right at the start) so while they may have voted for another Evil it could easily have been an Imp voting for a Grue or vice versa so it really won't tell us much. I'm going to look at what you posted a bit more closely just in case something grabs my attention though.

I am very aware of that... My thought process is illogical. I don't think you can lable thoughts as impossible or possible... At least I don't think.

Exactly - without the ability to put them definitively into two buckets, we're going to have a tough time drawing conclusions from that first day voting.

How interesting that you go there since your name was the one (between you and Kraegor) not voted for on day 1 by any of the known evils.

Hey, you're welcome to kill me today, as long as you have 100% confidence you'll get it right on the next try after you've eliminated me as a possibility. I'm agreeing with your indisputably true point, and if that creates some suspicion in you, that's too bad for our team (and is apparently a tactical error on my part, given that I'd prefer you vote for, y'know, whoever the evil guy is).

He will say the same thing (he being any of the other players that are unknown). We have no method for being 100% certain of any of you at this point. I feel better about lynching you than I do lynching Kraegor. I feel better about lynching Kraegor than about lynching tru1cy. I feel that if tru1cy wins by playing the "I am not here" game two things will happen. 1st I will vote to lynch tru1cy day 1 no matter what else is going on. 2nd I will vote to lynch tru1cy each following day no matter what else is going on until he is no more.

It's true - you have no method of identifying the malefactor, which is why you should follow your other impulse of "kill the guy with the coconut." That actually has some other in-game effect, and it prevents him, if the UR-Grue, from doing something evil with it. And ultimately, if Kraegor isn't evil, you can still move on to your alternative plan of killing me (which would also lose the game).

Actually, it does not have that effect. The thief will steal the Coconut regardless of where it starts the night and who ever the thief gives it to will have a chance to use it. Killing the Coconut holder does nothing but tell us what side that player was on same as killing anyone else.

It is the same problem as ALWAYS, Remus, "do they vote together" "do they stay away" cup in front of you.
Perhaps it would be easier if each Bad Guy had his own color.

Well, Brendan placed the nice "safe" third vote on Theohall, enough to be there if he was teamed with him but also enough not to be blamed if Theo had not been his teammate and turned up "Normal". Kraegor placed the second to last vote on there. I think that a bit late were they teammates and also a position that would garner attention should Theo be "Normal".

It's pretty simple math. One has obviously considered all the angles. should never ever lynch tru1cy. that's like.... strateegory or something.... so... 2 misses. 2 players. I see destiny!
Chaosraven wrote:And tru1cy is on there in the midrange as well.
Yep, but tru1cy is either not an evil or playing the "not here" evil and I have already stated that if he is doing the later I will look on it as low enough to spend every game he and I are in together voting him until he is dead regardless of anything else. If he is not doing that then it still sucks ass as the final Evil gets hung out to dry due to his not playing.....thus my mini-rant and the fact that I may need to be taking a break from these games until people actually participate again.
Also, remember, the thief gave Brendan the Lantern. Not much but it is a slightly higher chance that he is/was an Imp due to that. We also have Grund's assertation regarding Kraegor from the early game not being able to pay attention to more than a single forum at a time implying that he was an Imp.
Also, on the side of tru1cy not being evil, we have his bouncing vote behavior. He seemed to jump on any vote that started up. I mentioned it that day in an implicating manner to see what he and others would do but I really view that as more of a Normal behavior than and Evil one as the Normals have no reason not to vote for anyone else.

Oh, also do not forget that Brendan made a comment about not passing the Lantern. It struck me as very Evil at the time. Seemed like he wanted a good explanation for living through the night.
