Yep, but tru1cy is either not an evil or playing the "not here" evil and I have already stated that if he is doing the later I will look on it as low enough to spend every game he and I are in together voting him until he is dead regardless of anything else.
This is supposed to be a serious disincentive for him? If you actually followed through on that threat, it would render your own votes meaningless in "every game he and [you] are in together," and obviously everyone would know you were voting for him simply out of pique.

Again, you're welcome to kill me - just know that you'll only have one more chance to actually get it right. And after I'm dead, you might want to revisit your expectations of "normal" game behavior, as none of the reasons you're targeting me have any validity.

For now, I'm going to persist in feeding Remus' fantasy that tru1cy wouldn't drop out of sight while evil, and leave my vote on you, Kraegor-san.

No, if he has made the decision to play that way then my declaration is not going to disuade him. The other side of that is I highly doubt he would have done it...which makes Kraegor's vote that much more of an oddity to me.

Frankly I'm not really worried about which of you is the evil one as I figure it has to be between you and Kraegor so unless the living Evil one lives through today, and is UR-Grue, and gets lucky to get the Coconut tonight to convert someone......

true, as an evil player it would be wiser to acquire truc1y's trust and manipulate his vote.

I must change tactics!  Mr Bubbles!

this game is the definition of Remuscide!

Remus, considering killing me and brendan are the "final moves" you wish to outline. then yippy! let's go! means I don't gotta analyze anything!

I'm not waiting on your votes. Mr Bubbles and Chaosraven need to vote.

Also, do not abuse the term, Remuscide means leading the entire village to their death without them thinking about it. Chaosraven has been thinking rather than following so that blows it up. Oh, also, the fact that I am 3 for 3 so far this game....

Of course, now that I think about this, it's even funnier:

Kraegor, if the remaining evil one, shouldn't want to cast the deciding vote because he'll inevitably get tarred by Remus - "It's even more proof that Kraegor's evil!" tru1cy's AWOL, so who'll be the fourth? I suppose Kraegor will come to the conclusion that Remus' path is set and offer up the killing vote on me, then after the night kill, it'll be:

Kraegor
tru1cy
Remus
Chaosraven
Mr Bubbles

Remus is clearly driving the show, so he'll live. No self-respecting evil player would kill Kraegor or tru1cy, so it's either CR or Bubbles going to their deaths. I'd bet CR (though like the heisenberg principle, I might be affecting the thing I'm observing).

Then, the Remus/Mr. B block votes for their preferred target, probably Kraegor, but then who becomes the deciding vote on Kraegor or tru1cy, particularly if tru1cy doesn't participate in the voting? Recipe for stalemate.

An unlikely scenario that still bears considering:

If the UR-Grue is alive, and gets the coconut after the thief's redistribution, there'll be no night kill and then evil will have 2 players of 5 remaining. That complicates things considerably for the sight of righteousness and light, particularly because the known knowns (thanks, Monsieur Rumsfeld) will vanish. No longer will Remus/M. Bubbles/Chaosraven be safe, and given that shift, good'll likely lose.

In fact, given that it's a possible (if improbable) scenario, it does actually make sense to kill a non-coconut wielder today, assuming the thief doesn't redistribute items back to their current owners.

Kraegor need not worry about his vote today. Kraegor will get it tomorrow if you are Normal. With the single caveat that if the Coconut actually does I.D. the possible converted Imp as Evil I would believe either Bubbles or Chaosraven should they tell me tru1cy scanned as Imp.

You need a majority vote, chief. You'll vote to kill him, as will whichever of Bubbles/CR survives. Kraegor's unlikely to vote for himself. Who's the fourth?

Time limit, chief. If nothing happens long enough Scoop imposes a time limit. Simple 2-1 Majority will kill him, just as the 3 votes will kill you today should he not vote.

Evening - Day Three Score 20

"Wow, that was quick. I didn't even have a chance to make a vote." announced tru1cy, "So it's Brendan who dies, is it?"

Brendan simply screamed, "Remuscide! Remuscide! Remuscide!".

"At least use the term correctly." shouted Remus West and shoved Brendan off the dam to a long fall and very short and violent stop on the jagged rocks below. As Brendan fell everyone could clearly see an inscription on his boots which read, "Brendan - Normal".

"Well, he deserved it regardless. If I had a nickel for every time ..." muttered Remus West.

"Yep, and here comes the night again." called out Mr Bubbles.

IT IS PITCH BLACK. YOU ARE LIKELY TO BE EATEN BY A GRUE.

UR-Grue: Who will you send the grues to attack?
Wizard of Frobozz: Who will you cast your "find" spell (scan) on?
Implementor Dave Lebling: Will you create the Implementor secret forum?
Implementor Steve Meretzky: Who will you direct the thief to visit?
Coconut owner: Who will you scan (or convert if UR-Grue)?

All Night Play orders must be submitted by 2:00 pm (ET) on Monday, April 6, 2009. However, we can proceed to the next day if I receive all orders sooner.

Morning - Day Four Score 5
You are standing on the top of the Flood Control Dam #3, which was quite a tourist attraction in times far distant. These are paths to the north, south, and west, and a scramble down.
The sluice gates on the dam are closed. Behind the dam, there can be see a wide reservoir. Water is pouring over the top of the now abandoned dam. There is a control panel here, on which a large metal bolt is mounted.
Directly above the bolt is a small green plastic bubble.

"Ahh, good morning everyone. I slept well and its nice to see nothing has changed.", remarked Mr Bubbles.

"No, something did change. Remus West is toast.", noted Kraegor.

The mangled remains of Remus West's clothes lie on the ground, his boots still somewhat intact. An inscription on the boots read, "Remus West- Normal". Chaosraven solemnly picked up Remus West's remains and cast them off the dam and into reservoir.

"Yep, I still have the Brass Lantern from last night. So, its down to us 4 now." announced Chaosraven.

"Then that makes a voting majority of 3." remarked tru1cy.

Checking in (no admission of coconut) - Prior to Grund calling for Hidden Nutz
-purge
-Semaj
-purge
-Austin
-Semaj
...

"I agree with Grund that the bearer should stay put for now."
-Austin, who then votes for Semaj
Chaosraven wrote:Grundbegriff - not implez

Austin

-------------------

I'm looking at the following three at this time

tru1cy
purge
Brendan
My notes at that time were based on interaction with theohall

------------------------

"I have nfc about Brendan, and I'd love to hear more from Kraegor, Bubbles, Chaos (who has been active to a lesser extent, but is one of our few trusted as such I'd like to hear more from him) and purge. I'd add Tru1cy to the list but I know he isnt going to say shit for a while."
-Semaj.
So is Kraegor foremost on his mind, or did he realize he left tru1cy off his list?

-------------------------

"Their scans narrow the pool a bit but it would suck if we left one alone because we knew they weren't Imps and found out they were evil, or vice versa. Should the opposing item holder scan the one we have opposite info on, or is that a dumb idea? (IE coconut scan someone who we know is not evil, to get 100% proof) Or should we be scanning complete unknowns?"
-Austin. Trying to slow the scans

----------------------------

The search for the Nut

Austin - "Well here, I'll start. I do not have the coconut."
Semaj - "I have the amazing combo of Jack and Squat"
purge - "I was given the coconut." (He votes for Semaj)
*note - tru1cy votes for Semaj as well *

* -
"Interesting to me that tru1cy arrives to prod at the Brendan vote and then again to place his vote on Semaj who has basically used the exact same defense as Bredna by simply claiming "kill me if you want but I am normal".

Suggests tru1cy is either Grue or Implementor to me."
-Remus

Indeed it is.
As well as where the vote for theohall occurred.
As well as the checking in "just enough", the "reading comments", but no actual discussion over any of the strategy/discussions going on.

Back to the Coconut:
Austin drops a vote on Semaj (now 4 of 6)

And then the TROLL eats Austin.

----------------------
Here's my thoughts:

a) Do not use the sword on anyone. I believe we are currently are in a state of Imp victory. I will explain below, and we need to be sure that we're killing an imp. (at least, as I understand it)* The sword will need to be used after the imp. hunt has reached its conclusion.

b) I scanned tru1cy, he is not an implementor.

c) I don't believe Remus to be an implementor. The fact that he rests on using it means he's either carrying a VERY convincing bluff. Remus, who did you scan? (sorry, I've not been following closely).

We know for sure that we have killed one imp, otherwise the game would have ended with Austin's death. That means that if we have one evil in (Theo/Austin), AT A MINIMUM we have two more kills before we can achieve a normal victory, and cannot kill the remaining evil until we can confirm that one more evil has died without ending the game. The reason we have the two kill minimum is this:
That's Purge, entering panic-mode.
Really bad idea. Stab Kraegor or Semaj first. You still have a lynch.

As I said though, using the sword only prevents us from using it after we can be sure the imps won't win. We know two things:

1) two evils are dead
2) one of those has to be an imp or the game would have ended

So unless one imp offed the other with the troll to get on the normal side, we are handing the victory to the imps.

Remus, before you use the sword, please post WHO you are going to kill and allow them to respond.
Purge, further freakin' out (Remus has claimed he will stab Purge)
If you strike me down, I will become more powerful than you can ever imagine.
He's gone insane, I understand, I've been there.
See, he's a Bad Guy that knows what will happen if he dies.
He lied about having the Coconut.

Because when Remus killed Semaj with the Sword... Remus got the Coconut.

Deduction:
Semaj was The Troll Master. He sent the troll to eat Austin.

So the reason Purge was freaking out and the "more powerful than..." statement?

He knew theohall was not a Gruesome.

Austin and Purge = Gruesome.

With theohall dead, if Austin and Purge died, the BadGuyz would be dead, and with theohall marked as a Dead Evil, he had to be Impy, so the 2 remaining would be alive.

Coconut of Quendor - The Coconut of Quendor can be secretly passed to another player during the day phase. The Coconut of Quendor can be used by a normal player to scan for an implementor.

How did they get the Coconut?
They killed mipe.

Which leads us to the problem.
They couldn't use it to scan.

Since AUSTIN had the Nut, he was UrGrue.
Since Purge did not, Purge was the Wizard.

As the Thief did not berserk, and the troll was around, theohall was the Dave (forum)
As Semaj had the Nut after the troll attack, Semaj was Dave Anderson

So we're looking for the 3rd Implementer... who was partnered with Semaj and theohall.
"Where are you off to?"

Now then...

If Purge was a member of the GruesomeTwosome... his scan of tru1cy is a WIZARD SCAN, and as a BadGuy had NO REASON to lie about that.

So it's Kraegor.

He's the Thief, now converted to GRUESOME.
"Where are you off to?"

Before I drop my vote on that, can someone look for something I missed in all that madness?

Pretty sure I covered it.
The reason Purge admitted to the Nut was to protect Austin, who had it and needed to stay alive to USE it to convert that very night.

I'm sure he was frothing at the mouth when Austin was eaten and he went from Possibly 4 Evil players down to Last Man standing.

Negative.

We vote for Kraegor and he will have Plurality of 2 Votes when the time deadline
gets enforced.

Going through right now to look at Kraegor specifically. Should place my vote today.
