Anyone have an old 6-20 Gig HDD lying around?

Post by Kestrel »

Our small school has two student computers out of commission because the HDDs crashed. With the availability of the large hard drives now and the need for more space for gaming, I thought someone might have taken out an old HDD and thrown it in a box somewhere.

One machine is W98 with a 6 GB HDD and the other is XP with a 20 GB HDD. A small HDD would be perfect for these machines.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. The kids would appreciate anyone who could help get these machines running.

Thanks! YGPM

There have been no funds at the school for computers or upgrades for two years now, so I want to keep these running for the kids. They use them for encarta research, word proc., etc. Plus, I got a GeForce 3 for the better of the two computers and installed Flight Unlimited and about 25 airplanes for the kids to fly just before that machine crashed.
