Scrapland $9.99 with Free Shipping (or in store pick-up)

At Compusa Here

Compusa has .01 cent shipping through the 12th (I believe) and has some other decent deals on slightler older titles. You can search by category and then sort by price to find the best deals.

Picked it up today. This is an American McGee game FWIW (not much either way, for me).

Thanks for the heads up.

EDIT: By "American McGee game" I of course mean his name is on the box. Don't know if he did much to it or not.

He had very little to do with it. I think he merely helped "produce it" and had almost no input on it. I read that either in CGM or CGW.

The game is created by Mercury Steam, which was founded by the same people who developed Blade of Darkness.

McGee came on board as producer, after the game was almost completely done.

Can you walk into the store and get it for this price?

It looks like that is the only way to get it right now. You can order it online and select in-store pickup. My general experience is that CompUSA's online and in-store prices are the same, but I would bring print-out just in case. I can't imagine that they wouldn't match their own on-line price- especially when you can do in-store pickup.

I picked it up last week at my local CompUSA for $9.99.

sounds like fun enough for $10. the demo was interesting, but i was hesitant to pick it up for 40. well, i should say, i did pick it up, but was always compelled to put it back down on the shelf.

anyone know if the gameplay gets deeper or opens up beyond what was in the demo? it came off as fun, but a little shallow to me.
