I kind of have it off.

Traveling today for a meeting tomorrow. Was supposed to leave at 11:18, now delay until 1:30. Was supposed to fly to Birmingham and then drive 1.5 hours to plant. Now flying into Huntsville and only driving about 45 minutes. Arrive 6 hours later than originally planned though and get to spend 5 hours sitting in Ohare. Yippee!

Decatur. And a google map plot says only a 20 minute drive to the hotel rather than 45. Woo-hoo! I really didn't want to get in that late.

The plane from ORD is finally in the air. It was delayed because the pilot timed out and they couldn't find anyone else. In this weather, I am definitely willing to wait for a well rest pilot. :D

So, we are all::
a) waiting on the Slim replacement to chime in when it's determined that Slim isn't coming back.
b) waiting on Slim to actually just chime in.
c) waiting to make a Day 1 vote.
d) all of the above

Just seems like this is stalled, and I don't really see what Slim has to do with it.

Frankly, I wasn't going to vote off the new guy that was a special invite on Day 1. (I mean, damn.)
I'm probably not likely to vote off the person that's been kind enough to say they will step in (unless it's Chaos  ).

Lynching Scoop does give Scoop and Slim a point to laugh over - and it may help them to resolve this awkward "Hey, I'm sorry I bailed on ya there" vs. "No, no - I shouldn't have made you sign up." moment that may be floating in the air.

Lynching tru1cy would likely be my preferred Day 1 (totally blind) vote of choice, for reasons of his well established play style.

Lynching Unagi, yeah - that would be funny now too, since I'm making all this noise.

The plane was in the air on its way to us and they turned it around!

All flights out of my airport were cancelled (although a charter for Vegas was boarding as we were told this, so it couldn't have been that the airport closed). No trip for me!

As a courtesy, since he was good enough to join the game in progress.
Besides, if it was so important to replace slim, maybe slim's something instead of nothing. If that's the case, we'd do better to observe Chaosraven than to nuke him sight unseen.

While Grund's reason makes sense I'd say it is mostly because we know that he will post. Not as much as he initially did in these games but he will still be around and vocal while other players are not nearly as vocal typically and thus more deserving of being removed as they are thus also more difficult to get a read on.

You know, its nice reason but I automatically wonder why Grund would give it as a reason. I also automatically wonder if Grund is covering for a team mate. Then again, he didn't speak up for Slim and voted for him and its the same role. Fine.
