he's not dead yet.

He appears to be acting like the normal theohall (as in good) but then again I'm trying to remember the last time he was bad and if he acted any differently.
Lunch first.

I'm leaving my vote there.

I think you've posted on every page so far. :horse:

If you turn up 'Villager', than I will happily Stand Corrected.

If you turn up 'Good Guy Special', your inability to stay silent when given a role will burn us all and I'll only point out further that you should always post.

You can't win for losing, but you can still lose for winning.
err, I have no idea what that means either - but I think I'm just trying to say that you can indeed shake this MO, (and I actually think you are a little bit) but it's still your MO and you are still standing out to me like someone that should be lynched today.

I think it's fairly ridiculous to vote for someone simply because they are quiet, and then when they increase their participation to then use that as some sort of "confirmation" that they should be killed.

I can live with 'fairly'.

And... it's not just his increased participation, it was his claim that it was OK to kill him off combined with that increased participation. That's the confirmation.

And we kill the silent because they hurt us all.

Well. stessier and I do. you guys want to lynch The Mouth.

I find it odd that Scoop proclaims we should vote for Theohall due to Theo trying to bandwagon him and yet Scoop is openly trying to bandwagon Theohall. I find it odd that RMC thinks of everyone on his side until proven different while I think of everyone against me until proven different. I find it odd that msteelers does not see the reasoning behind voting tru1cy - it may be correct or incorrect but when someone alters their behavior in a manner directly opposed to what their voters are accusing them of it does look very much like "oh, crap, I need to continue to live". Good special or bad guy it certainly points to some thinking that living serves his side better which is odd coming from the guy who almost single handedly created the "take one for the team" lynch mentality in the early games.

As things currently stand I have no intention of voting theohall or tru1cy today.

I don't believe there is any great conspiracy here. Theohall is at n-1 and he has claimed to be just an agent. There is no danger of killing a special (unless he is lying) and theohall is just as good as anyone (including me) to test this day. I'm simply trying to move the day forward. Plus I feel he stepped out of line when he twisted the timeline and attempted to say I jumped on a statement by Qantaga when the opposite had happened.

An event for which theohall still has not addressed.

Regarding tru1cy - not ready to test him just based off of him "participating".

Regarding Qantaga - my vote for him was simply based on the fact that he has never been a baddie in an OO game. Its possible his time has come. I've never played a game with Qantaga where he is a baddie but I can say he is a very thoghtful and careful player and therefore pretty hard to read. I'd vote for him again theohall wasn't so close to fish food.

There an no other bandwagons going on right now.

what a hectic day...but anyhow, if theohall states he's just a simple agent, but we are still not sure about his alignment, should we go ahead and lynch him to be sure knowing we will not be hurting ourselves by killing a special.

I do like to avoid the situation we ran into in a GT game where we ran 3 specials up the flagpole on the first day before backing off each time but only after painting huge bull-eyes on their back for the bad guys.

To be honest I really don't have a better target. My vote on Qantaga was simply a vote because he's got to be a bad guy again sooner or later. Yes, sucky logic but not a lot to go on right now.

Looks like we have tru1cy or theohall camps. I hesitate with tru1cy, I hate to punish his more active role in this game because it differs, I'd hate to send him back into his shell for the next game even though it is a slightly different MO for him. I think I would feel safer going theohall this round.

Interlude - 1 The Hand that holds

The ship had been at sea less than 12 hours, and it was in the dead of night. Qantaga was patrolling the boat, on guard when a noise caught his attention, “You hear that?”

MSteelers who was standing next to him was about to respond when a shock shook the freighter. “What the hell was that?”

RMC, on the other side of the ship took a look over the bow. A ship had slammed into the freighters side, causing a small breach that ripped into the Alexander’s hull, he was going to take a closer look when figures popped up on the other ships deck and opened fire. As hail of bullets flew over him, he screamed into the headset. “We’re under attack”.

Scoop who was in the control room hit the alarm klaxon. Truicy sitting next to him looked puzzled at the radar, “There’s no ship on the screen though!”

RMC through the sounds of fire responded, “Trust me on this, ok? There’s a ship here and its jammed against us. It’s a friggin breach.”

Just then a second shockwave pummeled the boat, Remus who had darted out of the sleeping quarters looked over the other bow, and saw that a second ship had slammed into the ship. “We got a second ship port side.” He screamed into the headset.

Lassr started to run from the sleeping quarters when another explosion rocked the boat that sent him sprawling to the ground, knocking him out cold. Just then a loud, cranking sound started up; the sounds of heavy machinery piercing the night. “What the hell is that?” Stessier said as he jumped over Lassr’s limp form.

Rshetts2 peeked over the bow. “They got some sort of magnets up against the hull, but looks like they got this giant drill widening that breach.“ Just then the drill withdrew back and men streamed forth into the Alexander’s hold. “They’re in the hold, they’re in the damn hold.”

“Someone get into the damn hold.” Chaosraven. Unagi hearing the command started to take the steps two at a time, Grundbegriff hot on his heels. The door to the hull was a few feet away when it slammed shut. They tried to open it, but it had been sealed from the inside.

“They sealed it. We can’t get in, I repeat we can’t get in.” Grundbegriff said.

Theohall heard the grim news, and with the other way cut off he knew there was only one other way in. He clicked into his headset, “Give me a long covering fire over their bow for 7 seconds.”

“What are you doing?” Qantaga responded.

“Just cover me.” Theohall responded. From his vantage point he saw the breach, saw the seawater starting to pour into the hold. Then he saw a sight that shocked him, the drill popped open and the bit changed into a large mechanical hand that surged into the breach. Time was slipping away. The bullets started, he counted down the 7 seconds and then jumped over the rail. His jump was perfect. He landed on the other ship took a step, then dove headfirst into the hull. Once again his landing was perfect, his hands propelled him on the ground and he came up from such a perfect somersault that MaryLou Retton would have been envious of.

Ahead of him was a large oriental man with a distinctive hat. Theohall started to bring his gun up, when the giant hand swung a bit knocking Theohall off balance. Oddjob grinned wickedly. And with his bowler hat in hand, cocked his arm back and let it fly. Theohall looked up, just in time to see the hat wedge into his forehead. Death was swift.

The mechanical hand clutched the giant container that read “Danger: Nuclear Material” and with its prize withdrew into the invading ships hold. Oddjob running a step behind it, leapt into the invading vessels hold. Giant doors slammed shut behind him, magnets unsealed themselves, and the vessel reversed itself, away from the Alexander.

The team fired on the fast retreating ships, but it was useless their mission had been blown. But they had a more imminent problem, the Alexander was sinking and it was sinking fast.

They each swore that Theohall’s death would not be in vain. Only a loyal MI6 man would have taken such a risk. His mother in Norwich would be proud.

Chapter 2 Start – Vented

The sea water was rushing into the hull, it had to be stopped or else the vessel would sink. Qantaga looked around and spotted what they needed. “Those bilge pumps, we got to get those started.” Msteelers ran over to the pumps and started setting them up.

RMC, meanwhile, had found the spare metal plates, “I’ll start getting these sheets welded on to the breach.

Scoop’s voice came over the headsets, “I just got a distress signal out guys, helps been promised at dawn. We’re on our own until then.”

Truicy who was lugging another slate of sheet metal, spoke up “I shot a tracking device on that ship, we’ll be able to track it where it goes.”

No one responded, their situation was grim, just maybe they’d survive the night, and then they’d find the bastards who did this. The team worked through the night, barely keeping the freighter afloat and the sea at bay.

Just as dawn broke Rshetts2 was working on the bilge pump, stopped and looked around. An odd sound caught his attention. “Hey Remus I am going to check out the engine room, something sounds wrong.”

Remus nodded and a few minutes later he too heard a sound. He looked across the horizon and noticed a pair of fast moving helicopters approaching the boat. Help had arrived. Within minutes they were hovering over the Alexander and Royal marines were streaming out of the choppers.

Lassr was on the deck watching the Royal Marines emerge from the chopper. One got out, noticed Lassr watching them and ran over to him. He stopped, saluted smartly and said, “M has orders that you’re team is suppose to track down the nuclear materials that were stolen. We’ll make sure the ship gets to port safely.”

Lassr nodded and spoke into his headset; “We’ve been relieved of duties gentleman. We’re going for a chopper ride.”

Minutes later, most of the team had gotten into the choppers when Stessier looked around; someone was missing. “Hey anyone see Rshetts2?” No response. No one had.

Chaosraven clicked his headset, “Hey Rshetts2? Where you at buddy?” No response.

Unagi looking down at satellite tracker said “We got to find him quick, the tracker is almost at its range. We got to get going!”

“Lets split up. I’ll take the engine room, I thought I saw him heading there earlier.”Grundbegriff said and headed below deck. As he entered the engine room, he heard an odd hissing sound. Something was wrong. He started to make his way towards the sound and, as he turned a corner, he found the source of it. A pipe had been punctured and steam was bursting through it. Then he made a second discovery. He looked below the steam vent, and there was the dead body of Rshetts2.

Push theohall's lynch. Claim I will survive the night. Then kill the guy that razzed me about being my evil partner. God, I would be a OO WW stud!!

As for why rshetts2? Anyone who's played with him could answer that and the list of suspects would include people not even playing in the game.

Still, one of you ordered his death ... hmmmm ... I'm just going to think about this over by the poop deck ... uhmmm ... not pooping though ...

Well do you ever get the feeling that the story's too damn real and in the present tense?
Or that everybody's on the stage and it seems like you're the only person sitting in the audience?

you seem nervous. a lot of explanation there.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.
