I'm not countering chaos.
Interesting developments today. I'd like to see what more information Remus is claiming before tossing in my two cents (and vote).

It appears Remus is claiming Seer and you actually want to hear what he has to say before voting? How magnanimous of you!msteelers wrote:I'm not countering chaos.

I am claiming Q. I can deliver a bad guy. That is the totality of my claims thus far.

Re: Bond II - The Prometheus Dawn -Chapter 3
I would. You were so over the top that you had a good chance of getting lynched. You played like you wanted a short game life, why scan someone that may die. Your play has been bold, which lead me to believe you were a provable special or you were drawing fire for the team at night. Knowing Remus he is going to scan someone he thinks will be around for a while. So my guess is his first scan would be Qantaga or msteeler. But enough speculation, he'll let us know soon enough because it appears he isn't living through the night per Chaos protection statement.Scoop20906 wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if I was the good guy you scanned.

Re: Bond II - The Prometheus Dawn -Chapter 3
So, just to share...
From reading Scoop, I am really leaning 'good' on him. I'll be a bit pissed if I'm wrong, but he seems natural. I really think he was thrilled that Remus may have been caught in a math error.
Stessier, I'm also leaning 'good' on him. This of course irks me to no end, because I so very don't want to be fooled by stessier.
Lassr had a few moments that I've reminded myself to look back at. He ezmated early on, IIRC, and then there was that moment where he came back and promised to get all caught up.... when he had actually last posted 10 posts up... And then his hyper-accusational moment when I pointed out the flavor looked like I got protected maybe. I think Lassr is likely a wolf.
Qantaga - Seems reserved and not totally forthcoming, but also seems to be playing it fairly cool. Without too many posts though, it's hard to see if that's just composure or actual innocence. on the fence.
msteelers - I honestly haven't gotten much from him this game at all, and that could be just him playing stealth-wolf very well. So, I sorta have him in the same bucket with Qantaga.
tru1cy - Not the protector, not the Seer. And the shooter will never die unless we kill him at N-1 without giving him a chance to speak up. Tru1cy is either the shooter, a wolf, or truly just starting to post a bit more. I'd be OK testing him still.
RMC - it is hard to tell if it's just a new player willing to vote almost anywhere - but he's not as new as he makes out to be, and his communications that always explain away his vote to someone elses logic - it does seem a little wolfy.
So, Lassr, to me, seems to be one of em.
msteelers and RMC would perhaps be my next best bet, but tru1cy and Qantaga have done nothing really to help me feel they are clear.
Lassr did seem to have some interactions with Qantaga that led me to believe they were not 'teamed', meaning I don't think they are 'both' wolves.
(and my apologies to Newcastle for reverting to 'wolf' and 'seer' and stuff like that, I just do it for expedience)

so you are accusing me based on the fact that I had storm damage in the neighborhood and a power outage, I made a quick post from my neighbors after power was restored saying I'll get caught up because I didn't have time to read before posting....
BRILLIANT!
You've nailed me.
now I can understand the accusation based on my comment on something you hinted at in the write up. That at least makes some sense.

Annoying, I swear I posted a reply to your question last night before I went to bed.
Anyhow.
My guess was that you were willing to use the lynch today as a 'test', still, and that you were hoping to give us two wolves tomorrow.
So I guessed it was not RMC.
I can also add that I know 100% that your villain will not be me.
There is a 0% chance that you and I will be arguing this morning about my status.
(Unless you decide to torment me briefly, )
My guess is that you maybe scanned Lassr?
Maybe msteelers to of course.... I thought your statement on msteelers (where his safe vote was laid) was perhaps a request by a seer to rid ourselves of msteelers.
So... let's hear it!

You, my theory, become almost apologetic when you're a villain.
The absurdity behind it was that anyone, given the pace of this game, would feel like they should chime in to explain why he wasn't 'keeping up'.

Re: Bond II - The Prometheus Dawn -Chapter 3
Every OO game usually has multiple pages to get caught up if you miss a day. This game seems to be an anomaly.
So list the things people have said about me when I'm evil:
I'm very apologetic. -New one.
I'm very helpful. -recent
If I eazymate-very old.
If I'm confrontational if accused -very old.
I know I'm missing some.
Was it the last game you were absolutely sure I was good and you were wrong?
Now you seem absolutely sure I'm evil and you will be wrong again. This should be fun.
I do advise if everyone else is leaning this way to get rid of me early instead of waiting until the end.
Although it would be nice if Remus has scanned me so I can get a laugh before I'm dead.

Re: Bond II - The Prometheus Dawn -Chapter 3
I'll tell you all that I did not scan Unagi. I would ask that you go back and reread this entire day with the additional knowledge that night 1 the EMP was triggered and thus the only night activity was the kill. I only have the one scan result.
Assumed based off Chaosraven's claim: I was attacked last night
Implied by my posts: I had multiple scans to work with
What do you do if you are a bad guy and just had your kill blocked? What if someone comes forward hinting at having information that is impossible for them to have - 2 scans? How many of you gave me lee-way based off my hinting and joking about being Q? Why didn't Unagi? My theory is that he "knew" I could not be the seer with 2 scans and thus felt that attacking me after I hinted towards being Seer would force me to admit to the "lie". Then if the protector wanted to save the one person he knew to be MI6 he would need to come forward as Chaosraven did - albiet for different reasons. I was a safe attack because it looked - to those who knew the EMP had been used - as though I had to be faking Q since there was only one night scan possible.
Notice that when I mentioned I knew a bad guy Unagi only asked about the one scan. When I asked who he thought I had scanned he only speculates regarding a single scan - not two scans. Up until now there were 4, possibly 5 people who knew the EMP went off night 1. The three bad guys, myself, and the protector if he happened to try and protect rshetts2 that first night otherwise it would just have been the 3 baddies and myself. Yet Unagi never once worries about who the second scan may have been since he knew there was no second scan.
Right now I think that Bond should shoot Unagi. I do not know his role or even if he is evil for certain but he is my biggest suspect (the scan is no longer a suspect, he is a known) by far. I think RMC is the third.
If Bond takes his shot today and misses then we have 2 more misses (unless we lynch Odd Job first in which case we would only have 1 more miss). If Bond hits an evil-doer today then we have 3 more misses to work with. If Bond does not take the shot at all then we have 2 more misses to work with. Essentially Bond's shot means we end on a lynch instead of a night kill.
Either way, it is up to Bond. Just do not shoot Erich Kriegler - Lassr. He already used his power and will be lynched today. I'm wondering if that is what he intends to laugh about, having used his EMP.

Nice. No, I protected Grund the first night as he is quite often first target. But this does cut back on our info. I will put out there that I won't protect myself tonight to entice the Bad Guys to take me out rather than you, knowing they could then kill you with impunity (and anyone else) thereafter, in the hopes of buying a scan. With the EMP gone, they cannot otherwise assume to succeed at night..

Ok, under HUNTER in the rules it does say role will be revealed. So lets go look at Lassrs interactions and posts. The Bad Guys decided to use up EMP to kill rshetts2 and block scan Night One. They decided with my fuckup it would be an easy task to frame me by killing Remus.

I can't say I'm exactly thrilled on the quality of your evidence. Shooting Unagi on a hunch just seems like a bad move. I'll be honest, I focused in on the one bad guy as well and didn't think too much about the second scan. I had completely forgotten about the EMP power, so it never entered into my mind that you could only have 1 scan.Remus West wrote:If Bond takes his shot today and misses then we have 2 more misses (unless we lynch Odd Job first in which case we would only have 1 more miss). If Bond hits an evil-doer today then we have 3 more misses to work with. If Bond does not take the shot at all then we have 2 more misses to work with. Essentially Bond's shot means we end on a lynch instead of a night kill.
However, I can't disagree with your math. If Bond misses the game ends after Chapter 5, even if we hit Odd Job. If Bond doesn't take the shot, the game still ends in Chapter 5 if we continue to miss after stringing up Lassr. The only way to push the game out to Chapter 6 is if Bond hits.
I see very little reason for Bond to not take the shot today. The only question is who. The obvious choice is Unagi, but I was really hoping to shoot Stessier.

Bond's role will be revealed when he shoots.
Identity of victim will be only their MI6 or Spectre allegiance, no information on the victims specific role (ie Jaws, Normal Agent 33, etc.)

The math was actually my main reason for taking the shot. Otherwise I wouold just have suggested he be the next lynch target.
I do have a suspicion that the bad guys thought rshetts2 was Bond due to their use of the EMP and his comment regarding having his eye on Qantaga. Not a huge concern though since it is not as though they can fake being Bond since the shot is public. Plus, I really want to go out by nailing two bad guys in a single day.

My main suspicion of Unagi is not from the single scan thing but rather from his approach to me through out the day today. The aggro stance versus me backed up by someone I know is evil (Lassr) and by my other main suspect (RMC, although his was a "triggercut" vote).
Notice that Lassr and Unagi both demonstrate no interest in voting RMC.

Done reading, but I find it odd the Unagi is still willing to "test" lynch me. So, Remus care to share?

Rather lynch a known Evil then go for a hunch. Also, of lassr comes back as evil this clears Remus and CR.
