Yes.
He put you in the lead. Now if I had gone and placed a vote on another 2 vote person we'd have 2 in the lead.
Plan was to run someone up in votes an see what happened.

But...

You mentioned Stessier specifically. Thats actually kind of a different move for you. You can have just voted for me without noting you were following Stessier's vote, correct? You "chose" to link yourself to Stess. Your plan to run someone up the flagpole had nothing to do with that.

If you're a rebel, you know you have a reasonable shot at getting Scoop to N, especially when he's got 5-7 votes on him. The time stamps got goofed, but I believe that Scoop had that many votes on him for a good amount of time. You could see the bandwagon forming there a mile away. Yoda needn't be "quick enough" here, unless Yoda is someone who checked out of the game for a few days.

possible, my vote #4 was around 2:00 yesterday. Server time was fixed a few hours later and no one could post until 10:00 or so. Votes were placed over night to get him to N-1 and then withdrawals started this morning.

At this point what I'm left with looking at is Coop & Scoop.

Whomever it was (Unagi?) who pointed out the slip with coopasonic has an avenue worth exploring.

coop's play was very weird.

scoop's constant mistakes the past couple of games, plus his hideous avatar, makes him a smart choice, too, if he's on the side of the Empire. If he's a rebel, well, let him live and watch him fail!

So pr0ner is saying that if someone thinks I am Empire that I should be killed today but if someone think I'm a Rebel I should be spared today.

And, according to pr0ner's vote he thinks Empire which would mean he is a reb. Why else would a Empire player vote for what he thinks is an Empire player?

Interesting little mistake their pr0ner. That actually deserves a vote more than anything I've done today. In fact, what exactly have I done other than change my avatar?

 pr0ner

I could still vote Remus today as his early game actions seemed kind of defensive (gut call) and Lassr's odd play linking himself to Stessier but when I called him on it he tried to back track. Not sure why he bothered. It only made him look more odd to me.

Scoop, pr0ner was saying that if you are Empire it would be in the best interest of the Empire to kill you because you would make such an epic mistake it would doom us all (maybe he thinks he is killing the guy who designed a moon-sized space station that a single fighter could blow up). He was also saying that if you are a Rebel we should let you live as you would doom them all. I think it was a joke. Which in and of itself is weird from him but is hardly a slip of the nature you are trying to describe it as.

You would prefer another target? A military target? Then name the player!

I grow tired of asking this. So it'll be the last time. Who is the hidden rebel?

Still, its good to see you sticking up for pr0ner, Remus. That will be useful info later.

And all jokes aside, now both of you don't make sense. You really think it would make more sense to kill a player on your own team then to kill one from the other side because you feel that player (me) is so bad at these games that he will lose the game for you?

Pr0ner putting forward the idea and then you trying to defend that position? There is something very off there. Anyone else think this is a good idea? If so, then please take me out. I wouldn't want to be the one to blame for your failures.

I'm getting a bit frustrated here. To hear that some people actually think I am better off dead than in the game cause I might make an epic mistake is a annoying.

So, let me be frank. I am NOT a rebel. Do NOT kill me. It will hurt our team and give the rebs a better chance to win.

Why isn't Scoop willing to take one for the team in order to help us find these rebel scum? Plus the reaction to what is clearly a joke by pr0ner seems a bit too serious. Yes, staying alive is important. However, offing an Imperial should give us some hint to the rebels hiding amongst us. I would prefer to off a rebel, and Scoop's replies are indicative of him being a rebel.

Theohall, I'm fine with taking one for the team. if you have noticed up to this point and even when I was at N-1 I didn't scream that I had to stay alive. I looked at my bandwagon and provided useful analysis. Useful to me anyway. I really think there are some opportunistic rebels among the bunch.

I took a bit of exception to a JOKE that the team is somehow better off with me dead because of my spectacular sith power to make mistakes. Thats when I got "riled" as they say.

Am I a good candidate today? Yes

Are there better candidates for today? Depends on how read things.

Am I rebel? No.

Will killing me today hurt the Empire? Yes

Why are folks removing their votes from Scoop? Is it because he threw a temper tantrum (albeit a minor one) over pr0ner's joke? If he was a good enough target for you before then what changed that made you think him less a good target?

Here's the thing. I find that on reflection I am disinclined to give someone a pass due to them being upset over something as silly as pr0ner's joke. Unagi put up with crap from the last game. I put up with crap from the Remuscide game. People poke at each other in these games and I would like to believe it is all in fun. Thus the over reaction is one I would like to not reward by vote removal. Scoop has said he is a valid day 1 target and has pretty much admitted to being a normal rather than a special so even if he is Empire his loss hurts less than potentially outing the Emperor or some other important powered. That being the case I'd like to finish the vote on him and thus be able to look at the voting and the withdraws with the knowledge of his true allegiance in hand.
