I serve at the Emperor's pleasure and I shall give my life willingly for him.
day 1 without a lynch is a major crap shoot, so unless a rebel has a major blunder I see no use for over extended discussion, but my view is the minority

So let's not have an extended discussion. Put your vote somewhere useful.
Indeed. I'm almost tempted to push for tru1cy now even given the time constraints. In any event tru1cy, coop is right - put your vote somewhere useful, or you'll be the day 2 lynch (if not day 1).
1. triggercut - trig reads Empire to me. I'm not going to vote on him today.
2. Scoop - I think Scoop's train was built on smoke and mirrors. However, the n-1 moment points more toward Scoop being Rebel, than Empire.
3. Chaos - Chaos reads Empire to me. I'm not seeing Chaos' "slip" as damning. However, I don't like Chaos' holier-than-thou response to his train, so that's pushing me a bit in the Chaos direction.
However, in the end, Scoop's survival at n-1 (regardless of the uncertain existence of Yoda) is what leans me more to Scoop. I realize that a lot of Rebels could have already been on the Scoop train (and that will be something well worth investigating if Scoop comes back Empire), but I think it much more likely that the Rebels would have killed (an Imperial) Scoop themselves (with open votes, if they didn't have a secret vote at hand) at n-1, or even n-2, and dealt with the fallout later. I've seen Chaos and tru1cy (in previous games) not hesitate to kill at n-1 (even without giving the accused the chance to speak).
In addition, trig and Chaos seem to be hinting at special status, while Scoop has not done so.
Scoop
Note: I would happily jump back to tru1cy or over to Bubbles or KK if any semblemce of a train gets going on any of them. While I think Scoop the most likely Rebel (I'm not convinced Scoop is a Rebel, I just think him more likely out of Scoop, Chaos, and trig), Scoop is at least playing and we'll continue to gain more and more Scoop data along the way (whether he turns out ultimately Rebel or Empire), while we'll get very little data from the group of tru1cy, Bubbles, and KK.
If we shadows have offended, think but this and all is mended
That you have but slumber'd here while these visions did appear

It's been a while since I've played in a game with tru1cy, but whenever he plays like this it is because he's a redshirt. Believe it or not, I'm pretty convinced he's just a really unhelpful Empire player at this point.
"It's my manner, sir. It looks insubordinate, but it isn't, really."
I really really want to see CR lynched. I think his comment is the best we have to go off of today. But ui am getting blue in the face repeating myself. I would consider one of the silents if a train gets moving...simply so they dont hurt us later in the game. I wont be voting for the scoop train. Something doesnt sit right with it for me.
/wave to the silent
"Glad for you guys to make it"
And those on a train that's you know in the shop being repaired, and not zooming along on the rails to lynchdom...i got one piece of advice for ya..."Shit or get off the pot"
Yeah, I just keep coming back to the preponderance of circumstantial evidence against Chaosraven.
1. Maybe he slipped up by not acknowledging the possibility of the presence of Yoda. Maybe not, but it seemed so to me.
2. Maybe he slipped up by suggest that the reasoning behind his suggestion was to see if Dooku was in game, even though that would--as pointed out by Grundbegriff and others besides myself--give more information to the Rebels than to the Empire. Maybe not, but it seemed even more Rebellious to me.
3. And then finally last night we get the "I'm Empire and special and I'll just go to the gallows as an Empire and not give you all any other information until then" thing. What the heck? As frustrating as it was to see the start of a small train build on me last night, I can assure you that I had (and have) no intention of quietly sitting on a reveal of myself until it's too late. That confirmed to me that I might definitely have found some fire under the smoke.
Thing is, as individual items, none of these things are totally damning. Taken in whole though...really? Make a better case for anyone else's Rebel nature, and I'm all ears.
Until that happens--and given the remarkable sluggishness with which the train has moved on CR--I think he's our man.
"It's my manner, sir. It looks insubordinate, but it isn't, really."
I don't think Scoop and Chaosraven are knowingly on the same team. CR was eager to take Scoop to N-1 again to see if he could get an overvote to put him in the noose.
Scoop finally got on board the CR train to put him in the lead on votes.
They may both be Empire, but they most certainly are not both Rebels.
"It's my manner, sir. It looks insubordinate, but it isn't, really."
we could get ourselves in trouble here quoting the movie. I thought about it several times in jest but then figure someone would take it as a hint. I did once and made sure I noted that it was just a quote NOT a hint). So was Scoop hinting or quoting, I dunno. He did say he was nothing special specifically though.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.
Yeah, that's a fair point. FWIW the quote didn't strike me as an obvious hint at the time, since it fit well into the discussion (i.e. "so pick someone we should lynch!") Might be a hint, might not be.
I was hoping it wouldn't come to this but I'm nervous about getting lynched before I can make my annoucement. You guys have a tendency of running up votes for me when I can't really defend myself at work. You guys have really left me no choice. Therefore:
I am: Darth Sideous
So, now the Seer has been outted on day one on a "Lark" bandwagon based on my Darth Bieber avatar, my irritation with poor humor, and my comment that KK was "Peppy". Hell of an army the Empire is running.
And for those who said I claimed normal, I never did that. People inferred that from my comment that I am just as good a test as anyone else at that time and also when I was at N-1 I never got the chance to out myself due to being at work. It was only when I got home that I saw what happened. I tried to play it cool and ride the wave but the KLINGONS wouldn't leave me be. I would have been fine to fly under the radar and collect scans but I guess that won't happen now. Oh well.
So, where do we go from here? I can at least provide one scan IF Grand Admiral Thrawn is in the game so hopefully I will hit on Mara Jade and provide some value before the rebels take me out.
My vote is going to stay on chaosraven. He is our best bet for today.
Also, I'd like to hear if anyone has any scan targets to suggest so we can discuss this openly.
BB, will there be a night deadline for orders? I'd like to take some time to discuss my scan options with everyone.
As for scan targets...off the top of my head tru1cy seems like a good target (and would be illuminative of Grund's loyalty as well). Triggercut also might be interesting - since he's being helpful it'd be useful if he were cleared.
I think it's pretty clear that if no one else claims emperor, then we don't lynch Scoop. If someone else does, then we choose between them.
I stongly recommend that if no one else comes forward before (say) 2 or so eastern, those on Scoop move off. I'd recommend Chaos, BUT that's up to you of course.
There's a potential issue here if Scoop is not the Emperor and if the Emperor cannot access the internet at work (though really, if anyone can the emperor can). BUT worst case scenario then Scoop is a day 2 lynch at the latest.
I'm not sure what the post count is but I'd like my subjects drop votes now before I get R2D2ed if I'm close to n-3. Otherwise you will all pay for your lack of vision.
Stessier, Pr0ner, Lord Mortis, Semaj, Chaosraven, Lassr, coopasonic, Qantaga.
As I type, Stessier moves off putting Scoop at 7. Scoop cannot be lynched with an R2 overvote at this point, unless a PM got sent in those few minutes. If that unlikely scenario happens, we have a good idea of who R2 is.

Oh really?? See - it stood out to me as a very weird quote to pluck out at the time.
In fact. What are you even trying to say: "it fit well into the discussion".
Did it? It didn't fit into the discussion at all.
Go back and re-read it, it was a totally random quote that didn't apply at all to what Remus was saying:

Remus West wrote:Scoop, pr0ner was saying that if you are Empire it would be in the best interest of the Empire to kill you because you would make such an epic mistake it would doom us all (maybe he thinks he is killing the guy who designed a moon-sized space station that a single fighter could blow up). He was also saying that if you are a Rebel we should let you live as you would doom them all. I think it was a joke. Which in and of itself is weird from him but is hardly a slip of the nature you are trying to describe it as.
You would prefer another target? A military target? Then name the player!
I grow tired of asking this. So it'll be the last time. Who is the hidden rebel?
Still, its good to see you sticking up for pr0ner, Remus. That will be useful info later.
I'm starting to think that Scoop wasn't sure what special he felt like claiming. In fact, he could be Obi-wan, and was prepared to fake being Tarkin.

That is some seriously impressive iPhone posting you are doing Scoop. Imbeddded images and everything. Nice.

if someone else counter claims, we let the night kills do the talking. We let them both live. No way rebels let the emperor live. I Much rather we dictate their night kills then us do the dirty work.
It just strikes me as very odd that we managed to pick our Seer as our Day 1 lynch in two games. We can't find a Bad Guy, but we can find our Best Guy twice? What are the odds?

I wasn't in the last game, but that's pretty funny.

It seemed to happen on a regular basis over at GT. Like darn near every game.
