After reviewing the evidence again, I have come to the unavoidable conclusion that he is actually guilty.

Lassr and Newcastle gather all the votes on the table and find there are 10 pieces of paper all voting for Scoop20906. All eyes turn to Scoop20906 who is just sitting there looking almost disinterested.

"I knew this was going to happen," Scoop20906 said, almost in a bored tone. "I guess it was only a matter of time. I do have a few last words. Even though I have fought for the Rebel cause for many years, I have always considered myself to be..."

Nobody will ever know what Scoop20906 was going to say next. Tru1cy, in a fit of rage pulls out his blaster and fires 3 quick shots right in Scoop20906's face. Scoop20906 falls dead to the floor, his face blackened and unrecognizable by the blasts. Tru1cy then glares at everyone while the room looks at him in horror. "We should have done that first thing this morning. But no, you guys had to talk, and discuss, and act like a bunch of sissies. LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!" he shouts. He then returns to the corner where he had been brooding all day.

Remus is the first to shake off the shock of the moment. "Hey, wait a minute, how is there 10 votes, I thought we only had 9 people that claimed to have put in their ballots thus far. This doesn't make any sense. Did we make another mistake?!"

Lassr and Newcastle quickly tallied the votes again. No matter how many times they counted, they still come up with 10 ballots, but only 9 people had put ballots in the box.

Scoop20906 you are DEAD

It is now night 2 aboard the Emperor's Yacht. Where the hell is that rescue ship?

Night: Events happen in turn order
Boba Fett: Who will you protect (once per game)? If successful, you get a free scan the next day.
Grand Admiral Thrawn: Who is worthy of your protection tonight?
Grand Moff Tarkin: Who of the deceased will you scan to learn their true identity?
Han Solo: Will you initiate a block? If so on who?
Rebels: Who will you kill?
Jabba the Hutt: Did you help lynch Solo? If so, then you get a free scan. You will be notified by PM from the moderator.
Emperor: Who will you scan to discern their identity?
Luke Skywalker: Who will you scan for Vader or Mara?
Vader: Who will you scan for Luke?
Rukh: Who will you scan for Thrawn?
Obi Wan Kenobi: Who of the deceased will you scan to learn their true identity?
Talon Karrde: Who will you scan to discern their identity?

Yes, Scoop20906 admitted to being Rebel Scum right before he was justly shot in the face.

Where waiting and making you place the public vote does not cost us the day and would still net us two if you are lying. Mostly the exercise is to have you in a proven state so that the Rebels are forced to make the choice between an undoubted Empire player and more important roles.

Why are you worried about it counting against you? Hell, you noted that I spelled it out carefully yet ignored that I never even voted on it myself. The only one that gets any credit for that vote run is triggercut. Voting or not matters nothing as we already knew the outcome. Being worried about not voting is interesting though.

I agree, I don't believe we will be able to get any info off the Scoop train. He was done, and everyone knew it. Whoever was on the board at the time, rebel or empire, was going to vote for him. Only thing we learned was how many people decided to check the thread on a Sat night.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

not in the last 4ish days no.

I tend to work weekends and as such I was out of the house most of Friday/saturday/sunday

as such I wasnt able to catch up on thursday+ (other than my semi drunken reading thursday night after work)

was going to do it sometime today.

Apparently I either missed or forgot scoop claimed special. It has been a few days. Which might also be why i haven't posted my spot on analasys yet? I havent done a thorough read in a while...

Everyone wakes up and starts to gather back at the meeting table. Pr0ner, suspicious that the Rebel activity might not be over quite yet, quickly makes a head count. He counts 17. “Guys, I think something is wrong. Lassr is not here.”

Everyone jumps up and searches the rooms for Lassr. After a couple of minutes Mr. Bubbles comes running back in. “I found him,” he gasps. “He is over there,” and he points to one of the adjoining rooms looking ill. You all file into the room behind Mr. Bubbles to find Lassr with a knife protruding from his chest. He has been stabbed in the heart.

“Not again!” Theohall exclaims. “I had hoped we took care of this yesterday when we shot Scoop20906 in the face!”

"What! We shot Scoop20906 in the face?!" yells Semaj. "Nobody tells me anything!"

Lassr is DEAD.
