I've quit WoW and it's time to finish a few games that have been sitting since November. I've managed to narrow it down to three choices and I just can't decide. So help me out...which should I start first?
Half-Life 2
Vampire : Bloodlines
Far Cry
Glycerine
What should I play?

Far Cry before HL2. I find myself comparing it to HL2 and finding it lacking. The strength of Far Cry is the openness of everything and the non-linear game play (as much as you can get away with in an FPS). However, I really , really like the story and interactivity of the environment in HL2.

Well well well... since you asked...
Half Life 2 I think is the safest choice because of its top quality gameplay and graphics. You get a bit of everything: shooting, running, explosions, zombies, vehicles, weird creatures, plot. Personally, I didn't find it as thrilling as I would've liked, but it's a safe choice. You may not love it but you're not likely to actually hate it either.
Vampire is the more interesting to me, but that's more because of its theme as much as anything else. I really enjoyed it much more than Half Life 2 but I can also see why other gamers would be irritated or uninterested.
Farcry This game was all over the place for me: fun and annoying and everything inbetween. Took me awhile to finish because of this uneven experience. However, the best moments in Farcry were equal or better than the best moments in HL2.
So I'd play .....first, play HL2 as a middle-of-the-road choice.
Well, what are you waiting for?
Time to wake up, Mr Freeman...
