What are your thoughts/preferences concerning the frequency and format of my end-of-round updates?

What's pointless?
What's unnecessary?
What's useful?
What would you like to see?

I'm happy with your current end-of-round updates. I like the pause between rounds. Being my first time, it gives me a chance to evaluate things before the Governorship changes.

I'll let the others comment on what information might not be necessary, or what more is desired. (From my perspective, the more information, the better).

well if i have to nitpick...you need to nerf ElGuapo...CR is fine.

1. at the start of each turn might do an updated turn order....ie

Governor LM
-Qantaga
El Guapo
Newcastle
Chaosraven

2. For the trader might indicate what is still available to put in (i am colorblind so not sure what there is space for atm)

3. Turn frequency and youre updating is fine. Youve been very on the ball. The first day zoomed by fast. Do we need to wait for you after each turn? (i realize its preferable and organizationally makes things more neat...so actually probably a good idea).

4. I think you forgot the nuclear strike on El Guapos Tobacco plantations..just thought i'd remind you (i kid, i kid)

5. Informationally i think overall its a good presenation.

I'll take craftsman (and the 1 doubloon on it).

I produce 1 tobacco and 1 indigo. As my privilege bonus good (IIRC the bonus good has to be of a type you can already produce, right?), I'll take 1 additional indigo.

That's correct. Emptying the full ship(s), if any, is the final act of the person who selects Captain.

I'll assume the following production. Correct me if you've decided not to produce your current max:

El Guapo: indigo, indigo, tobacco
Newcastle: corn, tobacco
Chaosraven: corn, indigo, sugar
LordMortis: corn, indigo
Qantaga: corn, sugar

For his turn, Newcastle (by PM) takes Trader (and the 2 doubloons). He trades his newly produced corn, filling the final spot on the Trade House. Since there's no more room, the Trader turn ends with Newcastle emptying the Trade House. 4 crates are returned to the general supply.

It is now Chaosraven's turn to select:
  • Builder (+1)
  • Captain (+0)
  • Craftsman (+0) EG
  • Mayor (+0)
  • Prospector (+1) Q
  • Prospector (+0)
  • Settler (+0)
  • Trader (+2) N
A word on "final acts". The person who selects a placard/role often has a final act to perform. The final acts are as follows:

Builder: none
Captain: dump any full ships back into supply
Craftsman: take from supply a bonus crate, if available, of a kind he can produce
Mayor: repopulate the incoming ship
Prospector: none
Settler: discard the unclaimed plantations and deal a new set
Trader: dump the Trade House, if it's full, back into suplly

Note that the Craftsman's final duty is also his perq; he runs the risk of having no bonus (if all crates of his kind(s) are already in play).

Correct. You get the Trader bonus plus whatever was resting on the card.

Oh, I didn't know this. I had assumed that it would empty and the trader round would continue - might have chosen a different action. But I guess I should have inferred this from how captain works.

I was wondering why you were so willing to follow Newcastle's request and gift him with 3 dubloons.

In his defense, I think Newcastle's offer did state that the empty Trade House would be there for you, and it is! Next round.... ;)
