That's so weird, Kayla and I JUST had a conversation at lunch about how we feel pretty confident we'd survive the zombie apocalypse and we were talking about me, her, ChrisGrenard, and TheMeal meeting up with my brother after it happened. You and RW weren't in our conversation, but I did say how we'd try to meet up in the plains of Nebraska and send out a signal to others...I guess you were the others.

What happens inside the chrysalis?
The caterpillar parts are liquefying and re-arranging to become the cells, tissues and organs of the butterfly. In a few days, you will be able to see the outline of the wings of the butterfly beneath the pupal shell!

What is the red liquid I see as my butterflies emerge? Your butterflies will expel a red liquid called meconium. This is the leftover part of the caterpillar that was not needed to make the butterfly. This is stored in the intestine of the butterfly and expelled after the butterfly emerges.

On a dream note, I woke up at 2:30 this morning after having a dream that I was hiding in a hose from an armed intruder. The loud report of them shooting me in the head certainly got my heart beating.

I have to say that after all these years I still love "Fade into You" by Mazzy Star. Plus it always reminds me of how hot she was (is?).

That's one of the worst songs off the album, too. Hope's writer for that album was so on top of his game. It was like the Doors renewed for early 90s and it holds the test of time better than most Doors song as well. So That Tonight I Might See is one of my favorite albums of all time and totally inconsistent with my passion for high energy music. But that emotional chaos is just so at the top of its game. The turmoil and immediacy of "Wasted" flowing right into that patterned clarity of eternity "Into Dust."

There's a sort of wonderful irony spent dulling yourself in quiet room losing yourself in appreciating this absolute call to be out there leading a life.

Fucking cancer. Just found out that my uncle's melanoma has returned and spread, and it's not looking good. I'm not particularly close to him, but he's a wonderful man with a very tight-knit family. This is going to suck for them.

Condition or no condition the guys get sacrificed before the girls regardless. 1 of us and many of you can repopulate more quickly. Plus, Neal may have asthma but he is also much smarter than I am so will probably have some form of mechanized transport to save himself. I'll be the one trying to skateboard on a towline behind him. I am, according to Chaosraven, part of the comic relief in this scenario after all.

Looking? No. Hoping I'm not going to be forced into it. Yes. We'll see. I put air in the tire today and couldn't find a leak. (and learned the light should go off when I just drive the car around, let it hit the proper amount of rotations and the light will turn off itself off)

I just find it a bit freaky that someone with an RF tool can control so much of my car through my tires. It's somewhere between paranoia and knowing there are people out there who do look at this stuff and then come up with ways to break it for fun and or profit.

I am sitting on bad news, my favorite niece was in a car accident last week. The question, Is She OK? is answered with a no, no she is not OK. Too many broken bones to list, she hasn't woken up yet, and doctors are fairly sure she has a torn brain, a shear or something. She is 17, a good quiet responsible kid. Its very hard feeling so completely helpless.
