I really don't understand why you want Austin to live longer. Are you a wolf?

Ugh..Theo dial it down. Austin is on everyone's radar, and I think is a viable lynch. But there are others out there that might be better.

I think Austin is a decent lynch today, but we have more than a few days to talk it over and see what everyone thinks.

So let's talk and get people to analyze what they have seen and done.

Really? More viable than the guy who tried to out the Seer and was the clear choice on Day One between one other person who turned to be a villager and who Austin suspected of being the actual Seer???? Whatever. I ain't dialing nothing down with this nonsense transpiring when someone clearly appears to be a wolf moreso than this trap BS Chaosraven is claiming.

So be it, but I think we need to look at a few things. Why El Guapo? He is a very good observation type person, but his last couple of games he is batting like zip, zilch, nada.

Trigger flew off the handle, like you and made himself look like a wolf. Were there wolves on his vote? I am guessing yes. But there were also most likely wolves on other people as well.

I am not a wolf, and had my vote on Trigger. It started as a day one vote, but seemed to really solidify. So <shrug> what can I say.

I think that Newcastle is a good person to check as well as Austin. But I am going to read over everything again, and then try to apply some logic to what I am reading..

And as I am having a nice conversation by PM with Remus, perhaps I want to see who will vote for him. If austin turns out to be human, would you suggest we lynch Newcastle, who called out austin on the PM gambit and followed me along on a remus vote?

This is when you look at those who are trying to move us in a totally different direction. I agree with have people who need to be testing and they go to left field for their choice.

A note for us Villagers, because the wolves probably don't want us to notice.

The deadline is a MORNING deadline. For the time zone challenged:

0930 ET
0830 CT
0730 MT
0630 PT

Just something to consider if someone is being hesitant about posting now.

stessier,
can that be changed.
maybe another 12 hour bump?

I know you moved the deadline off the 4th of July, but putting it in the morning, the day after is:
  1. nearly the same as leaving it 24 hours before that
  2. not a normal time of day for a deadline
I'm assuming we'd all be OK with some PM deadline on July 5th?

If you were, kind sir. :)

Personally, I'm not feeling entirely like leading some new charge on someone at the moment.
I'm sure I can't totally hold that promise, but I'm not feeling confident really anywhere.

Yesterday (game) was not my best day, and I am second guessing myself a bit.

Remus, you aren't helping me (nor the village). You are sounding like last game, where you also 'liked your Unagi vote'. Not sure what you actually are finding wolf about me, as I'm not a wolf and I've done nothing particularly unlike myself (unless that's what your issue is).

I'm also on the fence with the Austin thing now. I can't shake my feelings from yesterday that I think he came across as a good-guy looking to collect data for villagers... but I was clearly pretty off yesterday.

Which makes absolutely no sense. Austin wanted to out the Seer. He suspected triggercut was the Seer and hinted at such. We lynched triggercut, who turned out to be a Villager and very well could have been the Seer. Why would we NOT lynch Austin after those actions?

It seems like this village is full of wolves who want to keep killing villagers, instead of going after the most likely suspect.

Bull. You have done very wolfy things in PM with me and I have already detailed them to you. Your behavior in regards to my contact after Austin's PM screamed wolf. Austin presented us with his list of outcomes from his PM. You also claim to have sent a universal PM. Where are your outcomes? You claim to have wanted a "leg up" on me by not revealing you had also received a PM from someone claiming Seer and had no interest in trying to find out who sent the one I told you I had received. Why would a villager need a "leg up" on someone and what sort of advantage does that provide in any event compared to exchanging more information - after all, if you had thought I was a wolf then the more you got me to talk the more likely I would be to give something away. You made zero effort there though. You were certainly not looking to learn anything from chatting with me.

Anyway, the vote on you seems to be going no where. I still do not agree with voting Austin today so I'm not joining that crazy train.

yeah... I did read the context. The end result of your actions was to find a Seer, which a Villager would NOT want to discover on NIGHT one. Just re-read your own posts.

No, I was trying to avoid outing the seer. Night would have been extremely unlikely to out the seer which is why it is (fairly) significant that I thought it was night.

Had I tried a similar gambit during the day (in a day frame of mind) it likely would have looked different. (Not sure exactly)

Had I been trying to out the seer, there would have been better PMs to send out.

Just firing blanks on Day 1, running people up to n-1 over and over has a chance t out the seer. Heck, y'all killed the uncontested seer last game intentionally without any PMs at all.

theohall, Remus, RMC, Lassr? 2 of these?

Day 2 musings:

- Lassr is still my top evil candidate.

- Unagi - would Unagi really have pleaded for help in lynching trig, if Unagi was a wolf (knowing that trig would come up good)? Or is Unagi devious enough to make that play to be able to say (something along the lines of), "a wolf would never make that play?"

- theohall - theo is moving up my list with a bullet. Last game, his single-mindedness (blindness to any other possibilities) proved spectacularly wrong. theo is a smart enough guy that I would expect him to re-evaluate that approach and become at least slightly more open-minded if he were a villager this game. His same damn the torpedoes approach this game strikes me more as a wolf hiding behind "consistency," than a villager searching for truth.

- Austin - I honestly don't know what to think of Austin. My feeling is that he is a villager trying for info, but I can easily see him being evil, too. What concerns me is those that rush today to a "Austin must be tested" stance. While Austin might be a good lynch candidate for today, it's certainly not a given that he is evil and he should merit a lot more discussion. We're currently at 8g/3e. A miss today takes up to 6g/3e tomorrow, which puts the wolves at a very big advantage. Today, we should be digging as deeply as possible to find wolves, not just "testing."

- Newcastle - I'm still bugged by Newcastle's "blow it up" play, but I was wrong in judging trig's "categorically: I am not the seer" statement, so I'm going to have to reevaluate my thoughts on Newcastle today.

- bb2112 - I'm still leaning good on bb, but I plan on reading up on him a little further today.

- Bubbles, Chaos, Remus, RMC - How many wolves are hiding here? One, two, all three?

- Unagi - would Unagi really have pleaded for help in lynching trig, if Unagi was a wolf (knowing that trig would come up good)? Or is Unagi devious enough to make that play to be able to say (something along the lines of), "a wolf would never make that play?"
I've gotten a few PMs from him also. At first I thought he was a wolf prying for some info. But since then I have changed my mind. I have no plans of voting for Unagi.

- Austin - I honestly don't know what to think of Austin. My feeling is that he is a villager trying for info, but I can easily see him being evil, too. What concerns me is those that rush today to a "Austin must be tested" stance. In this game I say better safe than sorry on Austin. Don't let him fool ya.

RMC is one, just a gut feeling. Unagi may be onto something with Remus. He's been spot on recently and can be dangerous player!
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.
