(Almost) Simple WW Game #2 - Game Over

Unagi is our seer. He reached out to me, NC and Austin to help him with his plan. As far as I know, we are the only three that knew Unagi was the seer. Austin, NC and I all picked out two people to send our PM's to about Lassr. Thus informing everyone of Lassr being a wolf, except for Lassr. The plan was to see who died at night. If it was Unagi, then probably one (or more) of the three he trusted, (Me, NC, and Austin) is a wolf, if one of the three of us died, then most likely one of the people we contacted is a wolf.

Now that Unagi is dead, that leaves one of two things:

1. One of us three is a wolf.
2. The wolves compared notes. They probably got the note from two of the three of us, and decided to go in a different direction and they got lucky with Unagi.

I think number one is probably more likely.

And I don't know if Austin is the wolf of us three or not, but in the name of full disclosure, he sent another PM during the night to Unagi, NC and myself. The four of us had been PMing pretty extensively since Sunday. Newcastle replied to all and told him no PMing at night.

I will go back through the PM's and see if I can gather anything that would help nail down our wolf.

Also, I assume that unless I get scanned I can forget about any direct contact so just keep me informed. Unless the Seer is you and this was direct contact. In which case just keep me informed. I'd ask that you relay a request to scan Unagi though. I really think he has not been acting like his usual self this game and needs either scanned or lynched.

I am not responding as that would be the most seer-like action.

Ah crap.....the gist of what BB says is true. Unagi was our seer. We four were in communication from Sunday to yesterday working on the plan to string up Lassr. We each were given 2 people to communicate.

Chances are indeed high that one of us is a mole.

I really, really thought we'd hidden our trails well enough. That i am having a hard time for the wolves to have hit the seer by blind chance.

The other security measures we had in places was that due to the three of us PMing 2 others. We know that in all likelihood 2 wolves were communicated w/...wether it was from 1 person or 2 is another question.

Question for all: were you at all thinking that Unagi was our seer?

We were reporting in when people picked up their messages. We sent out the PM's between 3:00PM and 3:10PM. I recapped at 3:45PM yesterday.

So that makes: RMC, CR, Q, MR. B, and Theo. Everyone but Remus. That means at least one wolf knows and has probably already told Lassr. Now they are trying to figure out what to do.

1. I sent 2 to the little circle we had right after the lynch and probably after the stessier write up...within minutes. I wrote and sent those not knowing the full text was up and we had transitioned to night. Again, I hadnt checked the thread yet and didnt know it was night yet.
2. I received a PM during the night from another player. I sent them a PM back reminding them "it was night".
3. I received the PM from Austin and reminded all of the folks in the "circle" that it was night.

Amusing that you were hammered by it on day 1. You should know the no PM rule Austin.

Just to point this out Unagi is always wrong about me. He always thinks I am a wolf when I am not, and a villager when I am a wolf.

In this case I am not a wolf. But I would be a pretty harmless miss, as I am on a bunch of radars. While I am not sure if lynching me and proving my humaness will help. I am not opposed to being the lynchee this day if it would help move the villagers towards finding one more wolf.

Let me post my thoughts later on today, or Wednesday. I have some meetings today and tonight is date night with the wife.

It would be too much to dump all PM's. Most of it is irrelevant anyway since they only talked about verbiage of how the PM's were going to read or forming the plan in general.

Austin, BB & I were all contacted by Unagi. he thought each of us as most likely innocent...for various reasons. I think he said it was a small "leap of faith" with me initially. I questioned him on why austin, and was satisfied for yesterday. I was hoping that this was not going to come to pass. Because that means today is a whole new ball game. Also he predicted if he died...we'd be at each others throats. Really wish he'd survived for not only the scans but the clusterfuck thats coming.

I can verify #1 and #3. #1 I didn't think anything about, because as NC says, it was a couple of minutes after night officially fell. I just chalked it up to PM's being sent about the same time and he didn't know yet. I give NC a mental pass on this.

Unagi, did you want us to make the PM's so they included everyone in the group, so that is why you included Austin in my PM? I would think it would be better to have us do individual PM's so people don't know who is contacting who. Only us 4 should know, I would think.

That was not my intention - you are correct - I agree with you.

As I just told Unagi. I am ok with the plan as a whole. I think individual PM's are the route to go.

We should expect to hit a wolf in this daisy chain if they arent already in it. (*cough* Austin).

We should make sure that Unagi is one of the receivers, for protection purposes.

I dont think we should move yet. But figure out the kinks

I think the seer should place a brief message, nothing elaborate. 3-4 sentences at most. Mostly to prevent people from figuring out who the seer is. When you type the message unagi. Make it bland.

I think this plan does a number of things. First it leverages the fact that I've (perhaps successfully) managed to trust 3 people and share this all with them.


1) If one of you dies in the night, we may have some nice and narrow information on who was wanting to silence their "Seer's mouthpiece".
2) If I die, the 3 of you may then have caught a wolf in (bb2112, Newcastle, Austin)... (maybe not, clearly)
3) Each player (accept Lassr) will have been given a chance to counter the claim, not that it matters at this stage, and I don't think any wolf will do it.
4) This gives everyone the pre-knowledge that Lassr is an exposed wolf and the Seer expects the counter claim, pre-emptively from his caught wolf, it gives Lassr very little wiggle room.

This should result in everyone basically coming into the thread and getting Lassr to N-1, where he himself would then claim Seer, I am guessing
Now, everyone was just told the Seer directed this lynch, so that would be pretty hard for Lassr to deal with, I would think.

I am letting the situation unfold. We have time before we lynch someone. I much rather take a measured reaction and think this through. We just got bum rushed and had our seer snaked from us. Theres a lot of angles to cover on this. First and foremost is their a mole within the "circle". Secondly was Unagi a lucky hit? Or calculated deduction.

And I am more curious about other peoples reactions than a bitch slapping fight w/ Austin right...which is what he seems to be gearing for. I really, really wish we werent in this situation.

Yes, but I encourage you and Austin to do the same. I don't want to misrepresent anything, and/or I could have missed something.

Unagi and I have quite a few PM's to each other before we all 3 linked up. I assume Unagi has also some PM's individually with NC and Austin as well.
