Lassr, I believe RR has a vote on Trig.

And for the record...i had no card (was already played) so how could i have cast off the death card.

Anyway BB...you really need to think this through some guy...just because its not your version of how you'd play it...doesnt disqualify it as being dumb or a grave mistake...its a good option...just different than how you'd play it...

I stand by my play, i think it was a good play. I think it was a great play in fact. I dont think your way is dumb or off, but i think mine was safer and enabled us to have more avenues of accessing that information.

are you sure you're a villager? Youre really, really eager to push me into getting lynched....and we're under a deadline imposed by wolves...of course they want us to do a rash move.

I have very little doubt now that Newcastle is a wolf.

Lassr giving us the time of Qantaga's death confirms it to me (and also confirms the Death card and not Nuke Em From Orbit.)

Sorry NC. I don't see the play as a good villager move. You even acknowledged initially you should be lynched for it.

The wolves put us on a short deadline. Triggercut has, from my point of view, been doing the "don't think, vote" all day.
So now yer interested in figuring out if the theo-bb connection is bogus. Theo's unwavering defense of bb5309 speaks volumes. Why not trust theohall at his word and doubt his intentions. Thus I would be inclined to vote for theohall before bb5309.

actually, i should really take that back...it was a superior..PRO village move. IF i went your way...if the wolves burn the seance card AND the PM card...what options do you have? 0 With going to CR you at least have a 3rd shot in rezzing him. I didnt realize i was going to be called an idiot for playing the card i did or else wouldnt have acknowledged that way...while yes very efficient, very risky in that it narrows where the choice is and avenues of accessing that information. My way, yo uhave 3 ways to grab it.

Yeah a wolf would say "think we have to lynch you". You guys are gonna be down 2 more villagers by the mornings. What are you going to learn when i come up innocent? Seriously think that through? What happens then? Oh noes...sorry NC we were wrong...then you go back and scratch youre head.

So 10 left now? 8 by morning....one bad card...and you guys are really screwed. Yeah, you guys are behind the 8 ball now.

Villagers - take a SERIOUS look at BB tomorrow guys. Verify if spartacus comes back around. Take a serious look at Trigg also guys. Verify if spartacus was in anyones hand on day 1. I have a feeling that BB will be alive tomorrow.

Only wolves would want such a fast lynch and with the added spin.

Good job so far wolves. Seriously good job.

What?? I'm confused. I thought the wolves were going to take care of that for us. Are you now doubting their commitment to assisting the village? I'm really disappointed. I remember the good ol' days when wolves would do as the village dictated.

Again sorry for blowing my cool guys...really am sorry about that.

I justgot pissed off when i was called an idiot for what i thought was a GREAT, and VERY pro village play. Very conservative, but in the end well worth it and helps the village. I dont mind criticism, I dont mind saying hey...not the best play or even a bad play...but when its obvious its still a good and valid play and i'm being called an idiot for it? That kind of gets to me.

So, my apologies to everyone.

That's not really adding up for me. Care to plain? Yeah sure you did a googly eye link to where you ordered a death and a minute later Qantaga died. What's the relevance to newcastle?

Nope. The deadline is 9:04 EDT tomorrow morning I believe. I'm looking at the time of death on Qantaga and comparing it to theohall's vote on Newcastle.

Those two events--Qantaga dying and Newcastle going to N-1 with theohall's vote--seem to have happened exactly 1 minute apart. Perhaps that's just a big ol' coincidence.

Perhaps it isn't.

Everytime I see Newcastle trying to lay it on bb2112, it really bugs me. The Free Scan card is gone and he came up Villager. He was prepared to let us lynch him to prove it with his Told Ya So card. Looks like redrun told us the truth about Qantaga, too.

But - go ahead Kraegor and Newcastle. Kill off the rest of the Villagers who were actually scanned as Villagers and announced to the world as Villagers to narrow the field of wolves.

We should be testing the following field...

1. Newcastle
4. kraegor
5. Remus West
6. El Guapo
7. stessier
8. triggercut
11. RMC

More than likely 3 of those 7 people are wolves. stessier hasn't been around at all. triggercut is pushing for votes (yes, I voted on Newcastle too) when the deadline is still 12 hours away. Kraegor seems to want to kill off villagers, instead of actually lynching wolves. El Guapo is probably a Villager who just did not get the chance to play the Deadline card thanks to likely wolf Remus West. We all just saw Newcastle's play and the odd use of a Death! card when he was about to be lynched. That leaves RMC.

But just ignore all this and believe what you want - especially you, Kraegor, who seems to want to test the "Villager" claims when one of them has already proven to be exactly what they were. Keep on testing them and we aren't killing wolves which lets the wolves win this really, really quick.

So....

Remus West, Kraegor, Newcastle..... top 3

so you are convinced newcastle is evil and you leave the train to vote for me? why leave the newcastle train when a deadline is looming?

and how is using the death card prior to a lynch odd? wait too long and the lynch happens and they lose the card.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

Seriously theo?

I want to believe you're a villager, but realize that you just put Newcastle at 3 votes. Realize that right now--late at night, and if folks sleep in tomorrow or go to church early in the morning--that there isn't going to be a lot of vote movement going on...but with 3 wolves out there and only 3 votes on our leading vote-getter, the chances are very good that one or two could swoop in and force a hung jury and we go to nighttime without hanging ANYONE.

That would be very bad.

And I say that knowing full well that if Team Evil has either the 1 Extra Vote or Cancel 1 Vote card that they could easily and invisibly get us to having a tied vote, and that would be a disaster on top of everything else.

Did someone play Puppetmaster on you? What the heck are you doing?

1. have you totally discounted the spartacus card for BB...yeah he might have offered to use that card that he said he had...but that could have been a bluff.

Deadline's 8 1/2 hours away, Buttercup. Folks are presumably going to be sleeping through much of that 8 1/2 hours.

I have no idea. I'm just noting for posterity that it appears as if newcastle hitting n-1 may have correlated to Qantaga being dead.

Could all be innocent. Perhaps a conditional order was sent in to use the Death card when any player hit n-1. Just noting that the player whacked when Newcastle hit N-1 was the player Newcastle voted for. The player killed by the Death Card can ONLY be a player with a vote against them.

I'm more interested that Newcastle was the one who put the vote on Qantaga that made Qantaga--who was one of our four partially "trusted" (kind-of sort-of) players--eligible to be killed with the Death Card.

Ahh, I see. Yes, in reading back, newcastle's knee jerk vote response and attack on qantaga could have been contrived for that purpose.

I'm not going to be awake before the deadline this morning and this is the only thing that makes sense to me for our lynch. Cancel a vote or add a vote won't change things now unless someone jumps on El Guapo. Or pulls off Newcastle.

Newcastle -3 ---------- El Guapo, triggercut. Bb2112
El Guapo -2 ---------- RMC, Newcastle
kraegor -1 ---------- theohall
20. Scramble (all votes placed against at least 3 players are redistributed randomly to those 3 players. If a majority is reached then a lynch occurs). 1 use.
theohall you should be retracting your vote for the simple fact that you are exposing the village to risk by placing an empty vote on me.

Lassr,

1) Is puppetmaster allowed to force a cast vote?
2) if yes, is the controlled not allowed to post again and retract?

That could be one overpowered card.

Indeed! Why the heck is Newcastle still alive? I don't care about any of his apologies - he should be dead.
