Incidentally, if someone else shows up who doesn't have a vote on Newcastle - vote for him. I think there are ways that he might still be at less than a majority. Let's drive him into the ground.

I'm unclear on deadlines. It says the player with most votes gets lynched. Does this also imply a majority is irrelevant? Or does a majority supercede the deadline if reached beforehand?

Just got up and read the posts in the night. I'm glad the village went ahead with the NC vote.

Theo, while I totally understand the Kraegor vote, I don't understand the timing. Let's finish the NC vote and look at Kraegor tomorrow.

Majority supercedes deadline. If no majority is reached by deadline, however, no lynch occurs and Day goes to Night.

30. Deadlines! (Play this card to set a deadline for the lynch vote. Choice of 24 hours or 48 hours from time card is played. Player with most votes is lynched at deadline, If tie then no lynch.) 2 uses.

With deadline, a lynch occurs as long as there is no tie.

That could be one overpowered card.
the intention of the card was not to make another player post a vote although it is not stated in the card rule. The card is suppose to be a pretty useless card, just one to have fun with.
If it had 1 use I would say sure go ahead and use it to make someone vote but with 5 uses then No.

As the sun sped toward the horizon the villagers worked feverishly to come to a decision. Although it seemed obvious to all who had to go it took some time to get to the 6 votes after the death of Qantaga shocked everyone.

After redrun cast the killing vote the Mage Stone acted. The bolt struck Newcastle in the back and he fell forward onto the ground face first. A few minutes later a dark mass began to swirl around his body before rising into the evening air and disappearing. Newcastle was a Dark Mage.

Woot! Great job village.

Nice try at the end NC. :P

This further clears RR. Without his swipe card we wouldn't have been on to NC. This also further damns RW.

1. NC's refusal to vote RW.
2. RW's insistence with going after RR.
3. Look at the timing of his vote on NC. It was almost like team evil decided it was a lost cause.

After RW, look at Kraegor. He also has been advocating going after people who are semi proven over those we know nothing about.

I had the Swiper-No swiping card. Nice that I wasn't around early to play it.

I also want to commend myself on not going meta and voting Newcastle yesterday. I really, really thought he was evil based on his comments on cards and group leading, but I tried hard not to vote for him based on that. Yay me!. :P

Haha. :D

Lets just say the starfish story was clever, but a villager in a similar situation wouldn't need to be clever or post something to cause a delay in a short time situation. This added, instead of subtracted, to you looking guilty.

I screwed up. Wanted to see what happened if we looked at someone else. That is all.

Still say Remus West and Kraegor should be next.

Someone asked "why RMC with his El Guapo vote." Why? From Day One: El Gaupo stated he had the deadline card. Remus West voted before El Gaupo had a chance to play it so 1 use would have been wasted. Yet RMC votes for El G anyway??? So possibly RMC.

Why? What have I said that is not true? What have you done but bring suspicion on yourself?

Did you, or did you not, go after RR? Q, myself, and others, all told you to focus elsewhere for day one. You stubbornly refused. Not a good team villager move. Great Evil Mage move.

Did RR, or did he not, basically hand us NC?

Did NC, or did he not, refuse to vote for you day 1?

Who was the idiot that dropped the last vote on CR before El G got to use the deadline card?

You had a lot of time to jump on the NC train, but chose to do it very late when there was basically no hope that NC was going to live.

At this point I feel the same way about you that I did NC. You are a distraction and the village is better off without your "help."

I have done 1 thing only to bring suspicion on myself, casting the vote on CR before El Guapo got to play the deadlines card. Although, look how horrid that turned out for the village.
Did you, or did you not, go after RR? Q, myself, and others, all told you to focus elsewhere for day one. You stubbornly refused. Not a good team villager move. Great Evil Mage move.
Ah, so drawing attention to myself and going away from the group think is a good move for side Evil in your mind. Right.
Did RR, or did he not, basically hand us NC?
Yes he did. Did you or did you not earlier insinuate that you thought he might be Evil due to that. Yet I am Evil for thinking redrun Evil during day 1.
Did NC, or did he not, refuse to vote for you day 1?
Yes, he did. How very like me as an Evil player to have one of my teammates defend me rather than gain credit for my death. Particularly coming off the last two games. Oh wait. That would be the opposite of me.
Who was the idiot that dropped the last vote on CR before El G got to use the deadline card?
Yep, that was me.
You had a lot of time to jump on the NC train, but chose to do it very late when there was basically no hope that NC was going to live.
I cast the vote when I got home from a party and before going to bed knowing I wasn't getting up before the deadline. I cast the vote when there was a very real chance that the wolves coould have created a tie vote using a card or simply one of them following onto the El Guapo vote. My vote made it a lock that he was going down regardless of other wolf actions but paint it however you'd like.
At this point I feel the same way about you that I did NC. You are a distraction and the village is better off without your "help."
I'm a distraction because I approach the game differently than you. If your definition of help is toeing the bb2112 party line then yes, I'm going to keep not being helpful because you are simply spouting crap right now.

You are a bonehead.
I hope everyone notes that you have gone from saying I am evil to saying I need to go because I am a distraction - which implies you already know I am a villager. Newcastle pointing at you may actually make some sense. Maybe you did play the Spartacus card or maybe you and theohall are actually both Evil. You certainly seem to be and that flies directly in the face of theohall's claim of a scan on you.

Who was conspicuously absent throughout the deadline vote AND killed El Guapo's opportunity to waste a deadline vote.

If Remus West is not a wolf, I will be VERY surprised.

We ALL know bb2112 is a Villager with any kind of faith in Villager's, wolf-breath.

FYI - this is the SECOND wolf attempting to use the same argument NC attempted to use. Looks like MASSIVE wolf-guilt to me. Bring this Dark Mage into the Light.

No. Once again you are trying to twist my words. I said you are evil. I believe you are evil. You are being too stupid to be anything but. And on the very slight chance that you are not, you are not helping and are distraction. Either way, I will be happy when you are gone. :P
That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.

bb2112 - no need to say any more. This is RW from the past three games. Let the rest of the Village decide. I am 100% convinced RW is a wolf. He has created a pattern which I will be carefully following in any future games.
