Theo and I are the only two that have voted, and the rest of you seem to be waiting for something. I'm certainly not trying to hurry the day along, take as much time as you need, but I am curious as to what people are thinking today.
That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.

I was waiting to see if there were anymore cards coming into play..It doesn't look like it...I had hoped that someone would have been able to talk to Mr. Bubbles and get us two scans..Bummer on that one..bb2112 wrote:Theo and I are the only two that have voted, and the rest of you seem to be waiting for something. 6 villagers and 2 wolves remaining. 4 of the remaining 8 have told us what cards they played. 2 of the the 8 are likely to lie about whatever card they have played, if they play anything at all. The remaining 2, being villagers, might not have played their cards due to conditional requirements, or just are not ready to share.
Not gonna get much more out of those remaining, IMO.

Does anyone have a cheat sheet with all the cards played/claimed from the last 2 days? And why hasn't everyone said what they had yesterday?

I don't think the wolves are likely to lie about what they've played, as that creates unnecessary risk (as they're boned if someone else has the card that they're claiming). Rather, I assume they would play a card and be honest about what card they've played (if such card is harmless for the wolves), or not play a card at all.theohall wrote:Let's do some math.RMC wrote:I was waiting to see if there were anymore cards coming into play..It doesn't look like it...I had hoped that someone would have been able to talk to Mr. Bubbles and get us two scans..Bummer on that one..bb2112 wrote:Theo and I are the only two that have voted, and the rest of you seem to be waiting for something. Cheat sheet incoming. Actually, that's sort of what I've been working on.
Yesterday I had the Daydreamer card. Not too exciting.

So, this is our cast right now. Aside from me, I feel reasonably confident that Triggercut and to a slightly lesser degree RMC are good. Kraegor's something of an enigma to me right now.
My gut's saying Remus right now, but I think my main concern is the apparent lack of opposition right now. I know that wolves can and do push for each other to give themselves cred, but with only two wolves left, would that be too risky now? But then, back on the first hand, the wolves could've pretty easily (I think) gotten Remus lynched on day one and I would think that they would jump on a chance to lynch Villager Remus, when they could have done so probably without blame falling on any one person / wolf.

Thanks. Who made the use of "A View From Heaven"? I know Newcastle said he used it yesterday, but the evidence suggests that he played the Deadlines card actually, yes? I may be forgetting a claimed villager use of A View From Heaven, though.triggercut wrote:Daydreamer

That list takes into account that someone--I assume a wolf, and further assume Newcastle--played the Deadline card "yesterday", forcing us into the game on Saturday.
I believe RMC played View From Heaven today.

Also keep in mind that part of the "?" added is that while some of the cards played are easily verified, they're not all totally verified and may represent pure claiming.

If Remus comes back a wolf, that's terrific. It puts things at 6-1. Given a successful Evil attack overnight, we start "tomorrow" out at 5-1.El Guapo wrote:Here's the question I'm pondering right now. Assume Remus is indeed a wolf. At that point hopefully we have some guidance. I remain hopeful of a Seance card being played. Barring that, I guess it gets kind of nasty.

Re: Story of the Chaos Order of the Dark Mages(WW)-Day 3
If Remus *isn't* a wolf, we're in some trouble. We go to tonight at 4-2, and come back tomorrow with no misses remaining unless we can get shielding done. If Remus isn't a wolf, I think we have to gamble heavily and look at bb2112 and theohall closely. I'm not saying that we act on it, but I am saying that the presence of two wolves in 5 or 6 players implies a very good hiding job, as might have been accomplished by wolf-ish playing of an unverifiable scan card.

No, I get that, and I'm not suggesting that, if we conclude that Remus is indeed a wolf, that we nonetheless try to lynch his partner first. This question is part of my due diligence on Remus West's possible wolfitude - I'm trying to evaluate it through the conduct towards him of his wolf partner.triggercut wrote:If Remus comes back a wolf, that's terrific. Fyi I have the daydreamer card. I was waiting to see if it was going to get swiped, but that doesnt seem likely at this point.

Re: Story of the Chaos Order of the Dark Mages(WW)-Day 3
As bb2112 talked about his daydreamer card something weird happened. His mind became more focused as the daydream card lost it's power. He was more aware of his surroundings, his mind was wide awake absorbing knowledge at an unusual rate. Then Remus West starting talking and bb2112 couldn't shut it off. His head filled with so much BS that it drove him crazy. He ran screaming to a nearby table, grabbed a knife and slit his own throat. Who knew the ability to daydream was so necessary.
This is a joke.

As for Newcastle, I see 1, perhaps 2 cards that match the criteria for being something you'd want to play right away and also keep hidden, and I had to really stretch both the definition of those filters to get to two.

The rules seem to suggest it is. Newcastle may not like it though.El Guapo wrote:So it's ok to say what card you had on a previous day if you didn't play it?

I was told it didn't need to be played, but would just result in a failed Swipe if that card was played. At the time I hadn't realized it was unlimited use.

You forgot that I played the "I am Spartacus" card on day 2.
That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.

And Best Mod Ever Award goes to... <drumroll> LASSR!Lassr wrote:As bb2112 talked about his daydreamer card something weird happened.

I actually got scared there for a sec. Holy crap, Lassr, I didn't mean to make fun of the sanctity of the Daydreamer card!
