Re: [Turn 37] Formula D
Sweet! Everything's comin' up Milhouse!
Straight ahead 20. Should put me on the second to last space of the turn on the outside.
Man, this totally validates the crazy risk I took back on the City Hall turn.

Re: [Turn 37] Formula D
Done.
Turn 37 Collision Rolls:
LordMortis (Red 2): 1; Body WP reduced to zero.
Tommy20 (White 1): 18
LordMortis (Red 2): gets clipped from behind, sending his car hard into the guard rail, eliminating him from the race.
I'll give half credit to El Guapo, as LM would have been fine without the engine roll.

Does Team Red win for getting both of their cars to the pits first?

Re: [Turn 38] Formula D
So if tires hit zero, the car spins out. As I understand it, next turn is lost as the car turns around. Then the following turn you get moving again. When you start moving again, what's the highest gear you can go? One or two? Or is it like coming out of the pit where you can go fourth?

You start the next turn in 1st gear, you don't lose a turn completely.El Guapo wrote:So if tires hit zero, the car spins out. As I understand it, next turn is lost as the car turns around. Re: [Turn 38] Formula D
Ok then. The choice:
4th gear: 7-9 I wind up in the straightaway, have to then go down to 3rd gear; gives Team White Power the chance to catch up. 10-12 I make it to the next turn and am in good shape. So 50/50.
5th gear: 11-17 I'm in good shape, 18 I spin out, 19-20 I crash. 7/10 great, 1/10 bad, 2/10 game over.
I suppose I'd take 70%+ good odds. 5th gear please.

Straight 1, right 1, left 1, straight 8, right 2, straight 5. Burn 1 tire, spin out.
There's no way to wind up on the turn on the 18, right?

That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.

Figures. 2nd lap I can't catch a break. At least my car is still running. Left 2 then forward 7.

Re: [Turn 38] Formula D
I can't see exactly what square the debris is in, but with 9 points I should be able to, via various routes, be able to end up in the inside space of the turn whilst avoiding the debris. Like 8 straight ahead and right one. (Provided that the debris isn't in the center lane.)
