I am addicted to these:

If I open the bag, I will finish the bag. While I would never turn down regular pistachios, the salt and pepper ones are amazing.

It is almost sacreligeous to think of adding salt and pepper to the perfection of pistachios.

Since the act of removing the shell is shelling, unshelled pistachios have shells, and shelled pistachios don't.

Sitting in the waiting room at the adult ADHD place at U of P. a four hour appointment has stretched to five hours and no end in sight, because it's taking my son half an hour to fill out simple questions. Hope that he gets meds for this. Was supposed to be done by one.

You know what really sucks about trying to get help with adult ADD?
Filling out forms!
ADDers are not good at forms.

Netflix recently updated their XBox Live app to include both a "Netflix" option and a "Netflix for Kids" option. This is awesome, because now my kids can go to the latter and only have kids' shows show up.

However, the main Netflix app still contains all the kids' shows, which means that 95% of the recommendations, genres, and "Because you watched X" lists are for kids' shows. I used to be able to pull up the Netflix app and browse through all kinds of lists for different movie/show genres and recommendations based off of other movies I'd watched. That's nearly impossible now.

Netflix, please fix this. If you're going to make a "Netflix for Kids" version, consider the primary one "Netflix for Adults" and filter all the kids' shows out.

This is my daughter's life. She's a huge Harry Potter fan. She goes to conferences, she went to New York a couple months ago (and was || this close to going to London) to be at JK Rowling book signings and meet her, she was at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opening and has met most of the cast. So, randomly, when they were in New York for JKR's book signing, she and her other crazy friends ran into Steve Kloves, the screenwriter for HP movies. They recognized him, which apparently surprised him and they had pictures taken, etc. He asked for their addresses to send them signed copies of the pictures, which they received. Well, he just sent them all Christmas presents. Autographed pages out of the script for the last movie.

I want to do a Freaky Friday. Her life is way cooler than mine.

Her life is much cooler than yours because you and Neal have done all the things to allow her to live a life where she can chase these opportunities and live out some of her dreams. Good job.

And we had a location go down this afternoon. Out ISP saw their network as up, out monitoring software said the same. The users had no connectivity, I could not ping the server or the RSA card on it, nor any printers or PC's. I could however ping the router and switch. I could not ping anything from the switch either. Thankfully I am not on the team that gets to fight with that. Hopefully I will get to find out what failed tomorrow though.

Grilled cheese on the side, and a dill pickle on the side of that.

But if it's just soup, you need saltines. Goldfish I can see working for some people, but not me.

I used to hate all tomato soup but then I learned to appreciate minestrone as certain something with a small kick to suck down while you are eating something else mellow tasting. I think that realization came after I fell in love with Chicken Tortilla Soup which has a strong tomato soup base, rather than a chicken soup base.

mmm... Chicken Tortilla Soup...
