This isn't the reason.

Any other guesses?
You changed your mind and beleive he's a simple pirate?
Close but there was a specific post he made that changed my mind. I even commented on it at the time.
Yes, same post that got me leaning more good on RMC. So...
Because you made the same post as RMC.
I did.
I felt it was interesting that a noob, a boob, and a coherent and highly directional radiation source all thought that there was a berserker role in the game that did not exist.

To clarify the noob just asked about it but his question and RMC apparent belief the role existed made me think he wasn't team wolf.

But, when Lassr made practically the same post....

Hmmmm, even when I am making this accusation I still don't read it as a set up.

Ok, Holmann, RMC, and Lassr are officially good in my book. The interaction seemed very genuine.

Ok, that cuts down the pool.

Ok, again, I need everyone to check today so I can make my decision.

So it was OK to lynch Tru1cy because he talked too much but Lassr/Holman and RMC are good since they didn't know if there was a Berserker or not?

OK.

I guess I should clarify that I wasn't really calling you out the way that sounded. (I'd edit if I could.)

I suspected Tru1cy before, and now I wonder whether my basis for suspecting others has collapsed as well.

Ahh Yes. I was an idiot and misread the roles. Berserker was only a possible role, and not a for reals role.

Well, I have no idea why I ever get lynched, cuz I do this all the time. :)

10 players.
3 wolves.
7 villagers.

We can afford one more miss without losing the game, but if we do miss today it's going to be a long uphill struggle to eke out a victory.

With any luck, our Seer has found something/isn't dead.

We have a Shooter too (unless dead). If the Shooter fires and hits, he buys us another day. If the Shooter fires and misses, we won't lose a day so that's good news.

These players should consider stepping forward today.
This seems sensible to me. For sure the shooter should step forward today - I don't see any drawback to using his power today since as you note it can only buy us more time.

The seer I'd have to think about, especially since there's no protector. If the seer has found at least one wolf I'm inclined to think that coming forward is worth it. If not then I'm inclined to think it better to stay hidden and get another scan in (rather than getting ganked tonight).

Ummm..... Not sure which way we should be trying to direct people.

I think that Mr. Bubbles is still a valid test.

I also think that there has to be a newbie in the wolves.... And I could be swayed to go after the Western Remus as well.

I think Remus has been just helpful enough, but not to the level of being not a wolf.

Hm.

I'm still curious about Holman.

I don't think both Lagom Lite and Remus could be wolves; I also don't think both Lassr and Remus could be wolves. It's possible all three are innocent, but I highly doubt it, and think at least one wolf exists in that set.

Still trying to draw a bead on everyone else, but I also think another wolf has been flying under the radar the whole game - El Guapo, perhaps? Scoop doesn't really count as flying under the radar, but it's certainly possible with him, too, self vote and all.

I'd like to think you are protecting Remus (if Remus turned up wolf) but I would think if you were on team wolf with Remus there is no way he'd let you protect him like that. He'd probably have you voting for him.

the vote and comment were unrelated. I just did both in one post.

I think Remus is a wolf that caused a lot of confusion at the start of the game.

I think it is hard to find the other wolves because they are quiet.

guess I should rephrase that.

I think it is hard to find the other wolves because there is not enough conversation. I don't necessarily think the other two wolves are quiet, just with so little talking there is no chance for more analysis.

Of course until we find the first wolf it is hard to connect any dots that may be there.

I'm gonna need you to point to that confusion. The only thing I did was engage you in an argument. From that I have my suspicions of Vorret - which seem to be backed by his behavior since as well. I stand by that. You are simply guessing me based off of a preconceived notion of my potential guilt from before the game had even begun.

Remus West wrote:If you are a villager, why worry about stepping in a trap in the first place?
it started here Remus. I never said anything close to this.

I explained your first misread earlier of what I said about a wolf warning a wolf about a trap in the thread. When what I meant was a villager would not warn the wolves but a wolf might say a person is laying a trap in order to look helpful by protecting the player laying the trap.

I'm not rehashing this again: It starts here. viewtopic.php?p=1962245#p1962245" target="_blank

I made a point and clarified any misconception but you wouldn't let it go and felt like you kept inventing or rehashing other stuff out of that topic to put a target on my head.

Since then it has not felt like you have been looking for a wolf to lynch. I know you have pointed to Vorret but you just don't feel right this game. I could be wrong but I've ignored my instincts before and wish I hadn't.

Hey, if I'm wrong about you, then you can laugh and point your finger and I'll go back to ignoring my instincts again.

Mr. Bubbles, Remus / Lassr, Holman / RMC (??)

Not really sure about my third wolf candidate at this point. I'll give that some thought in re-reads, though I suppose it doesn't matter as much as my first / second choices.

I think everyone's checked in at this point, right? I'm concerned that the shooter may be dead.

So here is who is alive:

Lassr
Remus West
Mr Bubbles
Lagom Lite
RMC
Holman
Scoop20906
El Guapo
Vorret
pr0ner

So here is what we have:

If the Seer is alive, he knows the identity of at least 2 people.
If the shooter is alive, then that gives us the possibility of 4 provens.

That leaves 6 unknowns with three wolves in that bunch.

However, if the seer scanned people now dead, that only gives '1' proven and not really proven until the wolves kill him.
And maybe 2 if the shooter steps up, if he is still alive.

Hmm....

Not sure if we should encourage our shooter or seer to come forward just yet. But there is not as many places to hide once we lynch one more person today, so a better chance we will lose one of our specials, if we have not already lost one or both now.

So since our lynching is not going anywhere fast, what does everyone recommend for our specials if they are still alive?

I don't see any good reason for the shooter not to come forward. Adds a proven person; either subtracts a wolf (possibly buying us another day) or at least reduces the space available for wolves to hide, but without costing us a day.

As for the seer - probably best left to his/her discretion. If the seer has found a wolf, I'd think that's a no brainer to come forward now. If the seer has scanned two villagers who are both currently still alive, I'd *think* that worth coming forward for, though I'm not certain (may also depend on the seer's estimation of the likelihood that he/she will be killed in the night). If only one of the seer's villager scans is still alive...I'd be inclined to think that they should stay quiet, unless we wind up about to lynch said villager.

No time to lay out an eloquent argument for it but lynching him have an infinitely better chance to kill a wolf today than lynching me.
