Well if you insist. Let's say I'm in reserve - if there's an even number of players (or if you really, really want a mega-large game with as many players as possible) I could join to make it an odd number. If there's an even number the game should start with a night kill anyway right? To get it to an odd number. So just force the wolves to kill me on Night 0 in that instance.

Actually, the above is a bad idea. The wolves should be allowed kill any player they like...

Allllllllllrighty then. Looks like we are at 20. Sounds like people are good with the time limit plan. Still waiting to hear back from 2 but will probably be starting today/tonight.

Maybe I'm wrong, but yesterday my browser showed that this thread had a latest post by Theohall, and when I clicked the little page button to take me to the latest post, my browser just hung. I refreshed all of OO, and then it said that the latest post was from Qantaga, and the most recent Theohall post was from a long while back.

Thus, I concluded that you had a post there, but you deleted it.

It's possible that my browser was wrong, I didn't actually "see" the post itself, and I didn't pay attention at the time when it said that latest post was made.

stessier, I had a thought. Will the "number of days" == "number of villagers" reveal if the wolves kill a special at night?

should we replace "number of villagers" with "the daily majority number"

Upon the killing of the villager, the werewolves will know the role of the person they killed, as they will search the dead person's home for clues.

I'm going to try to make this more manageable for me (and keep my lapses of non-participation infrequent) by keeping a notes file as I read but minimizing actual re-reading.
