That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.

When I was right about purge and tru1cy being wolves, although I screwed up not sticking with a tru1cy vote, yes. Keep on pissing. The attitude expressed in your posts currently is the same attitude those two wolves expressed.bb2112 wrote:Convincing you of facts is like peeing in the wind, isn't it.theohall wrote:I will, especially when you write stuff similar to what purge and tru1cy wrote on the spaceship.bb2112 wrote:I explained my thoughts on why this is different. Busy Saturday for you guys.
I could do the Purge vote. This game is reminiscent of the BSG game in the way he is approaching it. Hiding in the shadows.
I know in the BSG game he had real life conflicts though.

Dude, I am not Purge. If ever I become Purge, then your comment might make sense. But I don't see that happening in my lifetime.

redrun, LordMortis, Scoop were three I wanted to vote for today. For silents Bakhtosh or Purge will work.
We need to get a consensus soon so I'm not going to go off and place a lone vote somewhere that will do us no good.

Re: Lynching Liaisons - Day 1
I am curious as to why bb2112 never really replied to Qantaga's post about the Cabal and went on the "kill purge" push. That smells like a wolf changing the subject. The rest of the crowd playing the let's kill a silent thing bugs me when certain things seen so wolfish from others. Why not actually kill someone who looks wolfish vice just silent? It didn't work the last time in terms of finding a wolf and doesn't usually work on Day One.

Getting caught up from the weekend. I have no reason to object to Bakhtosh, which seems unobjectionable as "lynching the silent" is a reasonable day 1 choice. Probably should go down to n-2 until we hear from him though, right?

Let's say we decide to vote off a silent. Can we, as a group, have the balls for once to just make it happen? Or are we going to get someone to N-2 or N-1 and let the game grind to a halt while we wait for the silent to "have his say"?

Re: Lynching Liaisons - Day 1
What's the downside here? The deadline's not until Thursday...do you think that we'll fail to get the 11th vote if we wait until (say) this evening? Especially since we're just coming off the weekend, when some (like myself) don't pay attention. Yeah, Bakhtosh is probably not going to say anything interesting (if at all) but the downside to waiting is just waiting, while the downside to not waiting is potentially missing out on important information (like, special role).pr0ner wrote:El Guapo wrote:Getting caught up from the weekend. I'm all for accelerating the pace of the game and have no desire to let the game grind to a halt. However, it would be foolish to kill Bakhtosh without giving him a chance to share any information he might have.
If we kill him without allowing him to have his say, we will burden the cabal with having to decide whether to scan a possibly good Bakhtosh instead of a wolf kill. We should always want cabal scans reserved for wolf kills, since we have the ability to let the accused speak before they are lynched.
In recent games, Chaos has ChaosraveN-1ed (on purpose) and bb has ChaosraveN-1ed (on accident) and we have killed players without information.
Bakhtosh is N-1. Please do not kill him without hearing if he has anything to say.

I don't understand how waiting on Lagom makes any sense at all. We know where he stands. Why are we waiting to see what he does with his vote?LordMortis wrote:I think we were supposed to wait for LL to put the final stroke on, Bakhtosh final moment or not.
I had a long shitty weekend (well, actually it just ended really shitty, it started very well) so I'm going to need to reread to see what I think of all the action between now and when I left so I wouldn't be voting anyone right now anyway but seriously, if you really think Bahktosh is the right call for the day the only real argument against offing him right was already made by Qantaga. Lagom shouldn't vote at all if it is possible for us to gain the majority without him.

I didn't say until Thursday - I certainly don't think it wise to risk running up against the deadline. But sooner than this evening seems irrational to me, with the only benefit to that being avoided impatience.pr0ner wrote:So what do we do, sit here and wait until Thursday for Bakhtosh to come in (after not having logged in in almost a week and saying two weeks ago that things would be "back to normal") and "have his say"? Also I agree with Remus that it seems bizarre to wait for Lagom specifically, since there's no particular helpful information in a Lagom vote for Bakhtosh. If anything anyone *other* than Lagom should cast the kill vote since there's at least some information in that (albeit probably not much).

Seriously, we should give him more time than a Sunday night to early Monday morning window.
There is no reason to rush him to a lynch until at least late tonight or early tomorrow, which usually coincides with Lagom's most frequent online time.
It's ultimately up to Lagom to decide since, if Bakhtosh comes back good without speaking, finding his identity will fall squarely on the cabal.
Anyone other than Lagom who kills Bakhtosh without letting him speak is only helping the wolves.

There's a 1 in 20 chance that he's the berzerker. There's a 4 in 20 chance that he could be the Seer, Hunter, Medium, or Mentalist.
