That was disappointing. The guy buried his time capsule just 3 days before my 13th birthday, making him about the same age as me based on his opening photo. Pretty sure that I would have chosen more interesting items. It might have been cool to hear excerpts from the audio tape if it was playable.Daehawk wrote:Guy returns 27 years later to dig up a time capsule he buried as a kid in 1976.

Check out the guy's site who does that music. He's got zillion of tracks available of all different kinds, and best of all it's totally free (and royalty free, so Youtube is fine with folks using it). I sent him $5 via paypal just to say thanks. Kevin MacLeod, you're a good egg!Daehawk wrote:Headhunter music has a beat
The rest of us exist just to be distracted by the redhead. She knows how to work it (and it helps her cause that she's about 10x better than any of the rest of us at actually playing cards). (Helps keep attendance numbers up as well.) MHS dealt for the end of the first game (after she got knocked out), but in general we rotate the deal. She always sits in the traditional dealer spot as it's easier on her back that way (and she can be bossier from that seat), but we have a white "puck" on the table that says "DEALER" on it to signify who'll be passing out the cards. So let me get this straight....you use the redhead as a distraction while you look at cards? And you still went out in 7th?Is MHS the permanent dealer or did I just not see it move?
My dad wouldn't play poker "for fun" because it wasn't any fun unless money was at stake. And he wouldn't loan you money, either, because what's the point of playing against your own money? We only played penny ante but it was dead serious. I had a reputation for being good among my friends, but I was never a good enough bluffer to be really good.Daehawk wrote:And he played for money or didn't play. It was always strange having to get up money to play my grandpa lol.
Ive seen some of his stuff before. I did wake my wife watching this as she napped.naednek wrote:probably the funniest video I've seen
