Refresh my memory...slipstreaming into the curve, how bad is that for me?

If a car is carried into a corner by slipstreaming, he loses a brake WP (without the number of spaces being reduced).
In a corner, a slipstreaming car must follow normal driving code (e.g. following the arrows).
Braking in order to take advantage of slipstreaming in the wake of another player’s car is not allowed.
You would not be able to slipstream from behind Nick due to the arrows.

Well, crap. Then that's about as suck a roll as I could hope for. Let's go 16 straight, burn off 1 brake point.

If you roll a number but you can't move the full number of spaces because of cars ahead of you (like, say all three lanes are blocked), and you can't sufficiently brake, you crash, right? Game over?

Assuming that's a yes, then fifth gear.

Can I use soft tires out of a slipstream?

In other words - straight 4, right 2, straight 7. Activate nitro, move straight 5 (to behind Hentzau). Slipstream left 2, straight 1, +1 space with soft tires. -1 brake for slipstreaming into the turn.

If a car wants to profit from slipstreaming after moving, it has to stop directly behind another car. From this position he can then add 3 spaces onto his last move.
Short answer: No.

Long answer: Nooooooooooooo.

The soft tires move would have to be your "last move" to trigger a slipstream, 3 space move.
