E3 is only a few days away!!

Post by Ridah »

Sitting here packing, I had to take a break to talk about how damn excited I am. This is going to be my fifth year in a row attending E3 and I'm just as excited as the second time I went (nothing compared to the first though). I've always considered E3 my true annual celebration, I don't celebrate Christmas or anything else the entire year except for my birthday, so E3 is really the only once a year deal I look forward to. It's not just the E3 show and the games that attracts me; I love L.A, I like going to Hollywood after the show and have a nice night out. I love being with my buddies, not having to worry about anything except for impending hangovers for three days. Basically, to me and my friends, the whole trip is one big party. Tomorrow night, the night before the show and our first night at the hotel, its custom to get completely wasted, a little weed tokin' is nice too, and just enjoying being in the city. The next morning we get ready, get our video camera and cameras, start mixing soda bottles with coke and whiskey, and we're off! By the end of the show were wasted, we come back to the hotel and pass out for a few hours, wake up, go swimming, watch TV, eat, then we usually meet up with other people we know and get drunk again. It goes on like this until the last day. Alcohol, games, and hot sexy ladies, what more can you ask for? ;)

Yes, to say I'm excited is an understatement at this point.

This is the first time in six years I'm not going, and I won't miss it a bit. Last year particularly was so not fun; but every year it was a crushing amount of work (with a few memorable parties sprinkled in).
