Mount and Blade
Fate
Oasis

No they will never sell at Toys -R- Us and Best Buy certainly isn't going to stock them. Heck they probably won't even make it to gogamer.
Gameplay with no hype, no booth babes, no cool nerd factor, just gameplay.
That's kind of what I want in my games.

Games like that will mean PC gaming always has a spot..but I'm looking forward to the nextgen of consoles as well; Don't know when i'll be able to buy an Oblivion worthy PC for example, but quite possibly I could get an Xbox 360.

I cannot fathom how people like this Mount and Blade. Holy crap it was bad. I can never recover those 20 minutes lost playing it.

Does that game even have sound?

I would have thought that the huge success of WOW would be enough to end this talk of PC gamings demise. Personally I have a lot more interest in the handheld games then any of the 3 upcoming consoles. I will get a next gen console eventually, but when the market's a lot more clearer and there's a decent selection of budget games.

Add that to your list, and be happy. Whatever floats your boat.

I downloaded it as well based on a few opinions here and also couldn't figure out the big deal. It looked like a crummy RPG. But then I started going in to the tournaments and discovered the combat was a lot of fun.

I found myself continuing to play it and end up putting down the $14 to purchase it. Amazingly I'm playing this more than I have recent games I've purchased (Doom 3 expansion, Brothers in Arms, Freedom FF v 3R, ect). The battles in the game are enjoyable and it's fun to build up your army from lowly peasants to a strong army.

As for sound it has it but it is very spare, along with the music segments. It will be interesting to see how it evolves. It's not going to be for everyone but for an indy style game it's fun.
