Morrowind. Been playing that bastard since release. Or maybe it's been playing me.. hmm. Anyway I end up just walking around aimlessly round and round. Put it down for a few weeks. Play again for 10 hours or so, end up walking, walking, walking, give up again. I've done this since release. I imagine I've spend a couple hundred hours total ingame.

I'd guess I spent ~150 hours each beating BG2 and Might & Magic 6. I really wish PC RPGs tracked your playtime the way console RPGs do. I'd love to know how long each took.

BG2 and PST are by far the longest games I ever played. KOTOR was pretty long too (40 hours? That's good for a newer game)
If I had a sig, would you read it?

For me I believe Final Fantasy 7. Of course, I am notoriously slow at RPGs. Hell, I don't even get everything and it still takes me forever. :?

Baldur's Gate II + Throne of Bhaal and Morrowind are the two that come to my mind right away. i did everything i could possibly find in BG2 and sank a ridiculous amount of time into doing so. i've put 100+ hours into Morrowind as well and still haven't finished the main quest...i have accomplished a hell of a lot of other stuff though 8)

Pharaoh's campaign was good for at least 100 hours...much of it spent waiting for pyramids to get built.

I must've put 200 hours into BG, and I just started playing the expansion last week. I'm hoping it will "only" take < 50 hours.

I'm not very fast.

Morrowind and BG2 for me, too. BG2, especially with the expansion, is just huge. I've played Morrowind several times with different characters, and have sunk several hundred hours into it, yet there are whole sets of quests I've never even attempted, and scads of dungeons I've never seen.
What doesn't kill me makes me stranger.

The entire Baldur's Gate storyline, consisting of BG, BG2 and Throne of Bhaal, is just freaking huge. I've easily sunk 300 hours into playing a single character through the story. I love those games! :D

PlaneScape seemed to take a long time. Mostly because I read every word I could in that thing.

Same with Morrowind, I read every book I could get my hands on (well, plus it's just a huge f'ing game in its own right).

BGII of course. BGI with expansion as well.

DiabloII because you can play it forever.

Okay, I'm dating myself, but it seemed to take forever to finish Ultima IV. I'd play that game after homework in high school and it seemed that it took forever to finish.

The Ultimas III-V all took me forever to finish and I never got tired of playing them.

I'm almost ashamed to admit this, but the only RPGs I've ever finished are Ultima IV and V. I would have finished VI, but a savegame bug wiped out all of my progress and it killed my enjoyment of the game. And, this was pre-Internet days where I didn't know where to get the patch since when it happened, there wasn't a patch available yet through mail. I shelved the game and eventually lost it somewhere in time.

The complete Ultima 7. Boy did I get a lot of playing time in those games. Daggerfall was probably the next longest for me. Sure most of the random dungeons had hours of playing time.

I never found BG1 and 2 as long as others, but maybe that's because I enjoyed them so much. I completed both games, but never got around to the expansions.
