Anybody up for an intel i7 920, stock fan, 12gb ram and a so-so motherboard?

The board is an msi Big Bang x58 & there's a delay from when you hit power until it starts up. Also, sometimes it doesn't post through all the time & you have to do a hard reset to get the pc to start. Finally, there's so on board sound. You'd have to supply your own pci-e sound card.....

So really the only 100% reliable parts are the ram & CPU....

I'll most likely ship it out jan 6 or so.....

Absolutely. There is a dead system that needs emergency care, and this would do the trick. Occasional hard resets beat the hell out of no POST.

Another pc part up for grabs, this time its just a MB an older MSI Z68A-G43 socket 1155. If nobody claims its just going to go to recycling. I dont want to bother with eBay.

that's actually a step up from what i have, and i think it takes the same RAM. i might well be interested in that. it works fine?

Yep board works just fine....I'm moving the cpu over to a mATX setup for a smaller footprint. I'll have to look for the accessories, all I have at the moment is the i/o shield. All yours if you want it.

Whilst rummaging around found this an hauppague hvr-2250. I'm still scrounging around, but I do believe I have the remote for it somewhere. Let me know if interested.

Wait. This may not be the game I thought.

Have you played it? I read reviews where it can take 15 minutes for the AI to make a move.

But World War 2: Time of Wraith looks like it could be fun for an easy quick WW2 game. So I'll take that instead.

Of course if no one else claims Fall Weiss, I'll take it but give others a chance first.
