I wonder if the GOP would have more national appeal if they told those voters "Don't let the door hit you on the way out." Might gains among independents and conservative Dems make up for the departing rabid right-wingers? (Probably not in 2016, but maybe the party would be healthier in the long term if it shed its most toxic faction.)

Normally I would be the last person to advocate violence against women, but check out the smirk on Trump's spokeswoman's face when the CNN anchors are questioning her.

Some faces just don't look complete without a fist in them.

On the face that sounds good, but they have proven that the existing members can't win without the right wing of the party. It has been proven over and over again. Bush/Romney/McCain etc. just don't really bring over any independent or conservative democrats, or certainly not nearly enough to win.

That said they have shown an uncanny ability to give up and just give the other side what they want, so losing is something they are well trained for.

That toxic faction *is* the GOP. The kicking-out goes the other way; just ask John Boehner.

She's honed her smirk well.

Texas, what a surprise.

From mid-November:
“Islam preys on the weak and uses political correctness as cover,” she wrote on Facebook. “Two things that Americans won’t be concerned with when @realDonaldTrump is in the White House.”

If Trump is to maintain both his dominance on the airwaves and the support of hard-core tea partyers, it will be with the help of Katrina Pierson, who speaks the language of the party’s grass-roots activists with more fluency and even less regard for the normal bounds of political discourse than her new boss.

Has anybody ever considered the idea that Trump is a completely left-wing Hollywood liberal and this is his way of ensuring a Democratic president?

If he were unknown prior to this it would be the only logical explanation. But he's Donald Trump. This is perfectly in keeping with his character and his history.

Jeb Bush has. WaPo considers the evidence.

It's not remotely plausible, though. For it not to destroy both Trump and Clinton, Trump would have to take the secret to his grave. He would live the rest of his life reviled by his fellow liberal elitists and loved only by racist yokels. He would be cut out of access to the powerful and influential in the winning administration.

It would be Donald Trump's grand, subtle, selfless act. You can't even type that with a straight face.

He's the politician of politics. He's a venal shill. And he lacks any sense of humor.

Remember Trump Vodka? Sold along side things like Kid Rock BadAss Beer. DKAM was a scam and Trump used his name to profit from it.

ACN? Pyramid scheme. Trump used his name to profit from it.

Trump Mortgage? Total joke.

Then maybe the other 75% needs to secede. It's hard to imagine any reasonable person tolerating that association with racist xenophobes.

That's because the right wing is always still there in the background, repelling moderate support, despite the marquee candidate's attempt to keep them at arm's length. I believe that a Republican completely freed of that association would be a stronger candidate.

Look at it this way: They've also proven over and over that they can't win with only right-wing support. Neither party's base is large enough to carry the day. That should be self evident, but maybe they need to see a Trump candidacy go down in flames to prove it.

As a complete aside, I run script blocker. I often have to allow certain domains through when viewing a website for the first time. In this case, the pic is being served up by something other than the default domain, meaning it doesn't appear until I let it through. Since that's the whole point of your post, I open up script blocker to see what the domain is.

Let's just say that there so much content on that page being served up by domains other than the primary one that I didn't even bother to try to figure out which one was the right one.

It's been a long time since I've seen that much crap all at once on a single page. I think my browser would have shit it's pants if script blocker wasn't running. It owes me a coke.

Donald Trump is the product of a too tolerant culture. What needs to be done is clear.

“Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed and tolerance with them … We should therefore claim in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant. We should claim that any movement preaching intolerance places itself outside the law, and we should consider incitement to intolerance and persecution as criminal, in the same way as we should consider incitement to murder, or to kidnapping, or to the revival of the slave trade.” (Jewish-born philosopher, Sir Karl Popper)
Jesus said, "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body."[Matt 10:28] God can totally destroy us.

Jesus also said, "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”[John 6:40] Eternal life is conditional.

His disciple John wrote, "Whoever has the Son has eternal life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have eternal life. [1 John 5:12] Eternal life is optional.

That sounds intolerant. I can't tolerate, intolerance right?

/braces for a cavalcade of "Trump was right!!" posts because France raided three (out of 2400) mosques and has seized weapons and ammo (at mosques known to be radicalized).
And in banks across the world
Christians, Moslems, Hindus, Jews
And every other race, creed, colour, tint or hue
Get down on their knees and pray
The raccoon and the groundhog neatly
Make up bags of change
But the monkey in the corner
Well he's slowly drifting out of range

I thought it was likely Trump's middle east projects could take a hit from his mouth and they are. What was to be the most exclusive HUGE, HOOOGE golf course project in the world in Dubai ($6 billion development) has removed the Trump moniker. Will we see more Trump bankruptcies thanks to him running for POTUS as he is? :pop:

Real estate isn't the only branding problem for Trump in Dubai. Lifestyle, a home-decor store chain based there, said Wednesday it was removing all Trump-branded products from its 195 stores across the Middle East, Africa and elsewhere in the region.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

He'll just use that as a "see, I told you so!"

What would be better is if they just slashed prices and had everyone over there post photos of themselves with their favorite Trump crap.
