I bought a 12 pack across the street from work at a Safeway owned grocery. It's fairly easy to find here.

It'll go for that price with the press/viral marketing it's getting and could probably go for $200K. But it's still Rogers Park. Would make one heck of a party pad though.

In the very early 80's, my buddy's parents had a couple of rooms done up like that in their sprawling monster of a home.

We found out later that they were secret swingers. I still feel icky knowing I sat on the couch.

It's easy to find out here as well. And yes, we drank it heated during the winter (like hot chocolate). And yes, item #5 on that list is gospel. (And yes, it's annoying that it now says "ginger soda" on the can, as that's the phrase MHS uses to refer to it.)

What exactly is beer battered? Because I have some beer battered fish and there is no listing of beer or anything from beer in the ingredients list. Maybe it means the guy who made the batter drank the beer.

Was it a beer batter mix that you were supposed to add beer yourself? ;)

Sometimes they'll just list out beer solids (malt, hops) that went into the batter...but that's not exactly a sign of a quality brand.

Octopuses aren't totally anti-social after all :)
Researchers have recently discovered octopuses can use their color-changing abilities, long thought to be purely a form of camouflage to evade predators, to communicate with one another.

Nope it came pre battered. And no listing of beer in the ingredient list...no parts of beer either.

Short answer, Keratin - Melanin = Grey/White Hair.
Keratin is the protein that makes up our hair, skin, and nails. Throughout the years, melanocyctes continue to inject pigment into the hair's keratin, giving it a colorful hue. With age comes a reduction of melanin. The hair turns gray and eventually white.

WaPo
A Delta Air Lines plane was grounded recently after two flight attendants on a Los Angeles-to-Minneapolis flight got into a fist fight at 37,000 feet.

The Jan. 22 altercation began when a disagreement about “work issues” escalated into the altercation, according to the Aviation Herald. A third woman attempting to break up the fight was hit by “flying fists,” the publication reported.

The plane was about 200 miles south of Salt Lake City when the captain decided to land the Boeing 757 at Salt Lake City International Airport.

The reason for landing, according to the Herald, was because the pilot “wanted to hear from his flight attendants.” The plane stayed on the ground for 80 minutes before taking off and reaching Minneapolis more than an hour late, according to the Herald.

The midair boxing match wasn’t the first time a spat between crew members has grounded a commercial plane.

A flight en route to Chicago from Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina was forced to turn around in 2012 when two flight attendants got into a heated argument, according to ABC News.

Authorities determined that the fight was not physical and no arrests were made, ABC reported. A United Airlines spokeswoman told ABC that the employees were removed and the plane was re-staffed.

Your wedding ring didn't come from part of one of the coolest spy planes ever flown, hence the cost difference.

Not to you, or to me. But to someone who worked on or flew a Blackbird, or is just a huge fan? It's not like people don't pay as much or more for LotR wedding rings or Star Wars wedding rings.

I had always heard that you shouldn't wear titanium rings because they were impossible to cut off if you injure your finger and it starts to swell.

According to Snopes, not impossible, but not easy either.

The difficulty in cutting off a titanium ring lies completely in the grade of titanium used. Most jewelry companies use relatively 'soft' titanium...much harder than gold, but can be cut with time and the proper tools. That ring made from SR-71 titanium is going to be some of the hardest aircraft grade titanium alloy and damn near indestructible as far as rings go. It's a very cool idea, but I wouldn't want one of those stuck on my finger during an emergency.

Indeed, I own the following Superior Titanium money clip (which is also made from high-grade American aerospace titanium) and in terms of looks and durability, it's a definite cut above any other I've used. But I'd certainly think twice before wrapping that sorta metal o'the Gods around a finger.

Got to spend the day at Firestone. An intermittent starter issue led me to stop there after leaving Sonic rather than going to work Time: 8 a.m.. Billed as a 1.5 hour job. Apparently, the starter sits near the top of the engine compartment, but has to be removed at the bottom through some slide puzzle logic. Three hours later, car is ready.

Get in, drive home, get 75% of the way there, notice the check engine light is on. Back to Firestone. Time 11: a.m.

Code is for the MAP sensor. Tech resets it, service writer drives it around the block, all is copacetic. Get in the car to go, turn it on... Check Engine light.

Back into the bay. Replace the map sensor, no charge. No joy. Code is also thrown by a possible ground fault. Check all the parts that moved. No joy. Replace the starter, make sure there's not a fault in it. No joy. Check Identifix (auto repair google). Debris in the throttle body caused the same issue in a different repair. Clean that out, reset it ... no joy.

Go back over everything. Notice that a connector that had to be removed and replaced who knows how many times by now has a wire coming loose from it. Time: 4:45.

Dealer has the part. No, we're not bringing it to you today. Send a tech in the company truck to drive me home, go get the part, so we can start on it in the morning. Home at 5:15.

Daytime television is a vast wasteland. Morning shows, judge shows, the odd soap opera... Ugh.

We had a recurring engine light in Wife's Honda. After several service visits methodically replacing parts over the course of a month, it turned out to be a spiderweb blocking a vapor line. We were lucky that they had an older guy on staff who followed a hunch off the script or they probably would've ended up replacing half the car. All the youngsters knew how to do was follow their checklist. It doesn't account for spiders.

Most cars have thousands of spiders lurking just out of view.

Funny that they got into the vapor line, though. Usually they're lurking under the seats or inching closer, ever closer to the driver's hair.

The engine light is an automatic inspection failure. Ignoring or disabling it is not an option. No inspection sticker = lose your registration.

In Maine, this particular rule is based on county - and an inspection sticker from one county is good anywhere in the state. I happen to live where it doesn't matter if the light is on... at least, that's what my mechanic told me when he stickered our "Check Engine" lighted car and I'm certainly not pushing him for more answers.

My ring is supposed to eb the same they use in the space shuttles. Im guessing thats aerospace. But I wouldn't know if it wasn't.

Says Titanium FC inside the band. Its also beveled or something they called it where the edge is slightly rounded or turned up or something so it doesn't cut into your finger. Ive never had a more comfortable ring on though.

EDIT: Ahhh its called Comfort fit

Inspection... sticker? This thing. I know it not.

Around here registration requires paying the fee. If the vehicle is from out of state, you have to have it inspected, which consists of a $5 fee for a cop to double-check the VIN.

Read. Get a Kindle or something similar and you can download all kinds of free reading stuff. Also, go old school and get a library card. Then you can check out anything you want. You can even special request things and they will get them for you to read.

Seriously go to the library. We're there a few times a month and I can just reserve stuff online and pick it up when it's convenient. They have tons of current movies, console games and graphic novels.
