Nahh. The technological/engineering challenge is fairly straightforward. It's the political/economic front that's failing, and that's purely human. "Advanced intelligence" should not be this dumb.

The B-52's are Back! Oh, wait...
American B-52 bombers are "ready and able" to strike ISIS targets in Iraq and Syria, a top Air Force official confirmed Monday.

The air campaign against ISIS is "taking a toll on our aircraft, our readiness and our airmen" but the "venerable B-52 ... remains ready and able to meet combatant commander requirements," Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James said during a Pentagon press briefing...

...The B-52 Stratofortress aircraft would replace the B-1 Lancer bombers that were withdrawn from the Middle East in January in order to undergo "modernization and maintenance," James said...

...The newest B-52 entered service in 1962 and the 159-foot plane became a Cold War icon, featuring prominently in the 1964 film "Dr. Strangelove."

The planes have been modified heavily since the end of the Cold War and have been upgraded with precision-guided missiles, electronics and high-tech sensors.

So when are we getting electric helicopters for stealth missions? Or maybe we already have them for all we know.

I just found out that "Tittygram" is an actual thing. You pay $15, and a Russian model writes your message on her boobs and sends it to the recipient's e-mail.

We are either living in a true golden age of technology and innovation or the end times...I can't decide which.

Went down an internet rabbit hole this morning. Thought I was hitting up an ESPN article about Ronda Rousey getting busted for PED's, but turned out to be an ad site for a "Muscle Rev" supplement. As I was navigating away, this line caught my eye:
There is no doubt that Ronda Rousey will go down as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game, but many critics believe his use of Muscle Rev and Rev Test will jeopardize his legacy.
Wait...wat?

So I'm flipping channels and Richie Rich is on. Richie Rich was one of my favourite comics as a kid, so I don't hate the movie. I should also preface this with the fact that I don't like baseball. I don't watch it and don't pay attention to it. I played little league and that was it.

Anyway, Richie is taking batting practice and all his servants are in the field in their butler and maid suits. It's kind of funny. Then I see he has a batting coach. It's Reggie Jackson.

When I was growing up, Reggie Jackson was a household name. Today, I had forgotten he even existed.

a) I'm old.
b) The movie is way older than I thought, too.

Anyway, I forgot that Reggie Jackson existed. Huh.

I think yes. They have them at my chiropractor, and tell you you should.

Given the pricing I see for professional massages, I assume a tip is expected, just like with a haircut or a tattoo. I just have no idea how much that tip would be.

Internet says....

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=ho ... +a+massage

... It sounds like the Internet doesn't know how much either....

OTOH, if I was seeing a massage therapist, as in someone who could bill my medical insurance, I don't think I'd tip a thing but I also think they would charge considerably more. Hell, looking at the Chiro bill from my insurance company, they charge $150 for fifteen minutes.

OTOH, when I was seeing a Physical Therapist two years ago, he was Jesus with about two minutes of massage before doing PT. He did everything the Chrio said they were doing but didn't. He said I my muscles lock in half fired position, so rather than adjusting my spine, he'd adjust my muscles and dear lord, no masseur I have seen before ever did anything like this guy. Finger's up and down my spine. Then basically all drop 200+ pounds of his weight on concentrated spots on my back and the pain just disappeared like voodoo. Now I know why old white men want Asian women to walk on their back.

I read a news article (it was a legit source, honest!) that had a former massage therapist discussing how to get "extras" from your therapist, which, surprising no one, was heavily related to how much you tip (as well as the rapport built up over multiple visits).

Extras? It's a massage...

In any case, I gave her 10$ more than the 50 required, my insurance will cover the 50$ so a 10$ massage is a pretty good deal for me!
