That Star Wars Empires at War Gold game is really fun. I played it a good bit. The expansion to it is ok and adds a totally different style of play but I still preferred the Empire side.

Instead of posting here and waiting, I have been gifting games directly via Steam chat (trying - I am usually doing this at crazy hours, so almost no one is online at the time).

Is there an easy way to find out if someone has posted here recently? Some of the people in the Steam OO group are...suspect.

Would just prefer to give some of these titles to active members first...

Silent Age is very, very cool on iOS, especially on a larger tablet. I assume it translates well onto PC - highly recommend someone pick that up. Don't expect a deep game here, but for what it is, the production values are great, the atmosphere is great, and it's just really well done overall.

I guess you could call it a hybrid platformer/adventure game.

Lots of indie crap of varying quality, but for crying out loud, somebody request like six or seven of them please, if only for the cards. What's left I'll have to force upon Smoove or Rip or Carpet_pissr or who knows who else.

And please someone with a free itch.io account take those three even if you never do anything but link them to your collection. FYI, itch.io rose in the fall of Desura. Same idea, but with no client to download.

OK, I'll take:

Abrix the Robot (it looks Sokoban-y, so therefore i will like it)
Gorky 17 (i have the US version on CD. what's odd is there was a Linux version released in 2006, but the Linux version on Steam is a Wine-wrapped executable released just last month. from the Steam forum, i guess it's a stopgap until they get a new port up and running.)
