Must be that time. I crafted a badge and got a sale card instead of a coupon.

It would appear that my strategy of holding off on badge creation since the Winter sale has paid off (quite literally). The Summer 2016 cards that drop with each badge are currently selling for $0.15 a card (giving you $0.13). With only 8 cards needed to make the Summer 2016 badge, if you're sitting on badges now is the time. I think between the summer cards and selling off the emoticons and backgrounds, I am somewhere close to +$4 at this point.

I have to finally admit that there are simply too many indie games and random crap games adding cards for me to keep up with my (already hit-and-miss) "added" posts anymore. From now on I'm only going to post when I see a game and think someone might care. If I'm right, then by definition, no one will mind. :)

Oh, and as always, if anyone catches one before me, feel free to post.

Actually it's several of the Humongous games, so if you have stuff like Freddi Fish and Pajama Sam in your collection, you might actually want to check it out.

Broforce had trading cards added today. Not sure why they waited until after the weekend sale to do that, but whatever. More cards.

The iOS app has added the ability to check a bunch of confirmations and then confirm them all at once. This is actually a lot better than what I was having to do, which was two taps and loads for each card to sell, and much of the time it would fail anyway. So...yay.

Also, Ticket to Ride added. Titan Quest Anniversary Edition allegedly has them, but they don't seem to be activated yet.

EDIT: 7 hours to get three (of four) card drops for Dungeon Defenders? Are you kidding me??

I noticed today that I was able to craft a badge and then post the wallpaper and emoticon for sale immediately instead of having a waiting period.

...and then for another badge I wasn't possible to sell the background and emoticon right away. It may have to do with crafting a badge shortly after trading for the remaining cards, or shortly after they drop. Or it may be set independently for each game. Not sure.

On second thought, it's because I had to "purchase" two of the cards. So if you get them all from trading, the drops must be sell-able right away.

Looks like cards will be earned during this sale by voting daily on "Steam awards".

Correction, the cards this time all say "Steam Awards" on them, but you get one daily for voting and two daily for viewing two of your queues.

Huh. I probably should have been looking at my queues then.

Looking for:

Just 5 more minutes (#4)
There's something in my eye (#7)

Have to trade:

2xHug (#1)
1xCool (#2)
1xTime (#3)
1xDude (#5)
3xGame (#6)
3xCommunity (#9)

Shoot me a trade if you want. Just recently put the authenticator on (won't that be fun on a daily basis) so trade should go through right away.

Sent you a trade for #1. I only had #4 though. If I get another copy of #7, then I'll shoot it on over.

Thanks Mix. Steam tells me that 2 factor authentication is not good enough, and that the trade will be held for 24 hours until I've been using 2 factor for a week.

That's nuts.

edit: Got #7 today, so #4 will complete my badge when it goes through, presumably later today.

If anyone needs one of my extras let me know and I'll give it to you.

edit2: Mix, the trade went through as you probably are aware now. Thanks again!
