Depending on my mood I either yell out loud or in my head when people take selfies in the fuckin' bathroom and post them for all to see. I just don't understand. yes, yelling out loud and in my head too much for a textbook qualification of normal

Ive been food poisoned multiple times. I know. After a while theres nothing coming up and it feels like you're trying to rip your balls off and drag them up through your body to throw them up. Speaking of vomiting, my son's caregiver called in sick today because he wasn't feeling well after eating leftover sushi for breakfast.

The last time I vomited was mid January 1995. As best I can remember, Smoove_B's Law applied.
Coincidentally, that also happens to be the last time I had a serious hangover.

The caffeine can help with a headache, but the original 'cure' was probably a certain active ingredient that they ended up removing.Daehawk wrote:Off topic...Coca Cola was invented as a migraine cure. Excedrin Migraine is the best headache medicine I've ever used, and it's simply acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine. It melts any headache in minutes.Daehawk wrote:Off topic...Coca Cola was invented as a migraine cure. My wife has migraines. Re: Random randomness
What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?

Re: Random randomness
Why would someone describe country and western, then randomly switch the topic to pop music, while never mentioning that before people worried about kids playing video games, they worried about kids and their rock and roll music?

Twice in the last month we had emails sent to large distribution lists (first was over 500, second was all of NA and Europe) asking for a response. And our best and brightest continued to use Reply All for days. Nearly as amusing were the people Replying All asking others to stop Replying All. Days and days of this.

Re: Random randomness
Some years ago while I was on vacation, an incident like that apparently crashed our email server. I panicked a little when I returned to many hundreds of new emails, but as soon as I realized what had happened, I was able to delete in bulk.
This one is just a blip. Someone I've never heard of is leaving for another ministry. I can understand one accidental Reply All on wishing them luck. It's the continuation of thankings where it finally becomes comical.

For those that have the power, I highly recommend removing the button. I've advocated for it in my organization to no avail. The keyboard shortcut still worked when Cingular removed it after a crippling RA chain hit the entire US operations address book.

Being informed that if someone from my branch doesn't volunteer to be on the United Way committee, a name will be drawn from a hat.
I make no secret about my dislike of United Way. So does at least one of the other people whose name will be in the hat.
My email in reply to this announcement was polite, but my actual thought is more along the lines of "Are you fucking kidding me?"
