That's a weird response from him. He's not talking about someone else. He's talking about himself. He either knows he's speaking, knows he's not speaking, or is in the middle of talking with people whether he will speak or not. A normal person would say "No, I'm not speaking" or "Yes, I am speaking" or "I'm not sure yet, but possibly".

What kind of answer is "that's (only) a rumour"?

edit: Read more of the article, but didn't watch Tebow's video. The article says he's out, but then only quotes him talking about rumours. I assume his video is more straightforward and clear?

Apparently they've already scrubbed the TP part of the logo from the Trump and RNC websites.

Trump is still stuck with Pence, though.

What is it about conservatives and lack of imagination/foresight -- at one point here in Canuckistan, when the Reform party was nearing the final stages of absorbing the Progressive Conservative party, they briefly named themselves the Canadian Conservative Reform Alliance party.

That logo isn't going away. Frankly, I would hold a "TP for your Bunghole!" sign on the street because it makes me laugh so hard every time I think about it.

I didn't watch the announcement but a couple of articles I read were not impressed. Well, more like scratching their heads wondering what the hell it was that they just watched. Apparently Trump talked about himself for 30 minutes, introduced Pence then walked off the stage. And the Rolling Stones song blaring from the sound system was "You can't always get what you want"? Good. Lord.

Poor Pence. Does he have any idea what he's signed up for? I guess this is his Palin moment in the spotlight, except extremely unlikely to result in anything positive for him.

I don't feel sorry for Pence since...fuck that guy. When this is over he can have a reality show too - 'Bland Hate'. Now for some positives - Trump apparently is so, so sad he didn't make the best VP choice ever and is weighing announcing his council of crazy. I look forward to that shit show.

Pence will lock down the evangelicals and Teabaggers who didn't think Fuckface was "conservative" enough. Not that they would have voted for Hillary, but probably would have sat this one out.

At some point Pence will poss off Trump, and Trump is used to saying whatever he wants. It's not going to end well.

Scott Baio has stepped up to speak at Republican National Convention
“I actually was at a fundraiser for Mr. Trump the other night with my wife, and he invited me to speak at the convention, which was completely unexpected and out of left field,” Baio said. “He had given a speech and he was walking out. I looked at him and said, ‘Mr. Trump, Scott Baio,’ and he goes, ‘Oh my God,’ and he said to me, ‘Did you want to speak?’ and I went, ‘Here?’ and he goes, “No, no, no, at the convention.”
That's quite the vetting process: run into random people and ask them on the fly to speak at your convention.

I'd take that bet. There's no way that he dumps all the blame on Pence -- most of it will go to the GOP Establishment® for not jumping on the Trump Train from the get-go.

Yikes.
And in banks across the world
Christians, Moslems, Hindus, Jews
And every other race, creed, colour, tint or hue

Well he's slowly drifting out of range
